"Walk to the Vanderbilt campus and Centennial Park. Beautifully appointed and well-maintained hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor, where the pool and exercise room were located. They were fine. We did hear a loud mechanical noise below our room. Had trouble controlling the room temperature, but a ceiling fan in the bedroom helped. The kitchen had a full-sized fridge with an ice maker, and the appliances were stainless steel. The bed was comfortable, but a little too hard for me. Nice TVs with pretty good channel selection. The wireless Internet connection was fast and reliable. The fan in the bathroom didn't work well, and it was noisy. Easy check-in and checkout, and the hotel clerks were always pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast buffet with hot and cold selections, but the attendants weren't friendly. Not crazy about the parking fee; valet parking was worth the extra cost.
