"The rates were quite high, and parking wasn't included. Snacks were expensive, and we didn't realize they weren't free since they were in the room. The hotel staff was nice.2023-09-11"
"Great location. The hotel was fairly new. The room and gym had nice amenities. Kind, helpful staff. No on-site shop to buy snacks or water.2017-05-09"
"A great, clean hotel with excellent service. We appreciated the shuttle, and the driver was super accommodating.2021-06-15"
"The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel staff was friendly.2019-08-07"
"The hotel was expensive, and the staff was rude. The room was OK, but the toilet was broken. We were moved to a much smaller room. Not my favorite place to stay.2018-10-11"

"Terrific location. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Great rooftop pool and bar.2021-06-29"
"I didn't like the concrete ceilings in my room or the minimal lighting. No one could help me operate the "smart" TV. We found trash under the bed. Breakfast cost $19 per person and was terrible, and parking cost $38 per night. I don't recommend this hotel.2018-04-02"

"Convenient to local entertainment. The hotel was clean and nice inside and out. The staff was polite, and everything I needed was right there. Beautiful environment. Breakfast was just bagels and boiled eggs, but I had an excellent stay.2021-04-13"
"The lobby at this historic hotel was beautiful; it was a wonderful space. The room was standard. The valet staff was friendly, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and anxious to please. The front desk clerks could have been more polite and helpful, though.2019-08-20"

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, and The Bell Tower was on the same block. Valet parking was expensive. Go for it.2021-03-25"
"Good location near Broadway. The AC was loud and didn't work that well. We extended our stay one night, and were told to get our key cards reset; the clerk said we didn't need to, but of course our keys didn't work when we returned at night. The pool and exercise room looked nice, though we didn't use them. Breakfast wasn't free.2021-06-01"
"The motel was in an optimal location. The room was clean and comfortable, and the size was adequate. The staff was accommodating. Great breakfast room. I recommend staying here.2022-03-21"
"Affordable and close to VUMC. The motel room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was too small; the door hit the shower rail, so I couldn't open it all the way. The separate sink area was fine. Quick check-in. Breakfast had a variety of options. We were able to park right by our room.2018-02-09"
"I chose this motel because of the price and convenience to Vanderbilt Hospital, but I wouldn't stay here again. It was old and needed updating. Security was good and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was small and wasn't clean. There was what looked like mold in the corners. Not enough washcloths provided. There were only 2 drawers in the room for storage, so I had to keep most of my belongings in my suitcase. Consider other options.2018-02-03"
"I had a great time. The hotel room was clean, and the employees were nice.2022-12-14"
"An excellent hotel. Perfect location to downtown. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was great.2021-11-27"
"The hotel was filthy, and there were homeless people outside. No daily housekeeping; guests threw everything outside in the hallway, then got fresh towels at the front desk. The $50 deposit was ridiculous. Breakfast was horrible. Don't stay here.2021-06-29"
"Close to everything. The hotel clerks and the food were great, but the housekeeper threw away my expensive mouthpiece that I left on the nightstand. Management never called me back as promised.2017-12-27"

"Nice hotel and room, though there was no in-room safe. Check-in and checkout was a breeze. The valet service was exceptional. We were able to walk to all our events and adventures. Great place to stay.2019-08-10"
"The rates were too high for the quality of the accommodations. Parking cost $30 per night.2017-02-23"

HotelGuides made it easy to choose a hotel based on how far we wanted to get that day. Also liked being able to see the interstate interchange on the map to determine how far off the highway each hotel was.
We order the hotels on this page by how close they are to this attraction.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
