"A nice, clean hotel. Wonderful scenic restaurant. I recommend staying here.2019-02-23"
"An awesome experience. Great hotel near the cruise port, shops, and attractions. Just across the street from the water taxi. Great food at the on-site restaurant.2017-06-25"
"Great location. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly.2016-10-10"
"Central to Old San Juan area; walk to shops, restaurants, and the free trolley. The hotel room was nice and clean. The bathroom was clean but needed a little work. Enjoyed the rooftop pool and whirlpool, and the employees were helpful and courteous. The only drawback was that there were only 2 elevators, so I had to wait to get my luggage down for checkout.2016-06-28"
"Excellent location across from the cruise ship pier. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel clerks were friendly and let me check in early. Book early; it fills up fast.2016-02-04"
"A nice experience. Stay at this hotel.2016-10-05"
"Adequate hotel with good views. But the balconies either overlooked the roof of the bar, or had more limited views. The HVAC made a horrendous noise that kept us from enjoying the balcony or opening the sliding glass door. The glass doors were so dirty when we arrived that we asked for them to be cleaned. The safe in our room never locked. Staff was pleasant. If you stay at this hotel, make sure you have lots of off-site activities.2015-03-22"
"Large hotel with beautiful grounds - room was clean, but badly in need of updating - walls needed fresh paint - furniture was damaged - enjoyed the balcony - easy check-in.2012-02-01"

"An excellent hotel except for the 45-minute wait in line to check in. There was so much to do at this resort, and the golf course was beautiful. Nice swimming area with 3 pools, including one for small children. The older kids enjoyed the slides and lazy river. If you have a car, Walmart is just a few miles away. There was a shuttle to the villas. 2017-07-07"
"Close to the cruise port. The hotel room was clean and spacious. I really enjoyed the large shower, the workout room, and breakfast. Pleasant, helpful personnel.2016-06-14"
"We were pleased with the accommodations at this hotel and definitely recommend it.2016-06-13"

"All 4 beds were so old and worn that they sagged in the middle. The hotel staff was great, but don't stay here until they replace the beds.2017-09-29"
"The hotel staff was really helpful and pleasant. Great place to stay.2017-09-27"
"The hotel was OK, but the beds were horrible. I had 2 rooms, and all the mattresses were worn out and sagged in the middle. The front desk clerks were nice.2017-09-27"
"The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. We had breakfast at the on-site restaurant; the tablecloths were filthy and the hostess wasn't that friendly. Good rates, but I wouldn't stay for more than a night.2017-04-30"

"Nice, clean hotel. The room and bed were comfortable. Good service. I recommend staying here.2018-09-04"
"We absolutely loved this hotel. A little on the pricey side, but worth every penny. All the employees were friendly and went out of their way to provide top-notch service. We enjoyed all the little touches in the hotel. Wonderful decor and awesome veranda. The rooftop was great. The only negatives were that our room didn't have a full-length mirror, and the water pressure in the shower was poor. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.2015-10-08"
"The service was great - the concierge was always ready to help. We ordered room service our first night, and ate some of the most delicious food we've ever had. One of the really cool features of this hotel is that the walls are covered in photographs the owners have taken on their own travels. They've also decorated with pieces they've found while traveling. The rooftop bar has great views of the lagoon, and a dipping pool that's really made for relaxing and sipping fancy cocktails as opposed to serious swimming. The shower is the focal point of the room, as it's almost completely glass. It's not for the modest. Breakfast was filling, and we ate on our terrace each morning. The room itself was on the smaller side, but with the terrace, it felt larger. We didn't mind the size at all. They also provided a noise machine that helped drown out the noise from outside (we liked the ocean setting). The hotel is well-positioned in Condado - steps from high-end and boutique shopping and the beach.2015-03-25"
"A lovely resort. The staff was phenomenal and made this luxury hotel even better. The front desk clerks made sure we had a suite with a partial ocean view during a major holiday, and they recommended activity and dining options that were operational and thriving. Gorgeous private pool and private beach access. I absolutely recommend staying here.2017-12-18"
"Great hotel in a great location right on the beach. Close to Old San Juan and the airport and cruise terminal. I loved the ocean view room.2016-08-01"

"The room was clean, and the hotel clerks were nice and knowledgeable.2017-08-19"
"Nice location and reasonable rates. Easy access to the airport and cruise ports. The room was comfortable. Nice, accommodating staff. Nice rooftop pool, but it was difficult to get bar service. There was a great Cuban restaurant within walking distance.2015-03-23"
"Good location in Condado; close to restaurants, and a short walk to the beach - slow check-in and checkout - great hotel for an overnight stay.2012-03-01"

"We knew the hotel was associated with the hospital, but we didn't know the hospital was so large; it took us quite a while to find something to eat. The hospital cafeteria was only open during the day, but we finally managed to find the food court. When we returned from eating, we were told the hot water was out and wouldn't be back on until the morning after our departure time, so we weren't able to take hot showers. Signs and menus were in Spanish only.2019-02-19"
"Close to the VA hospital, and the rates were good. The hotel room was cold, and there was no way to adjust the room temperature. The lighting was poor. No iron, ironing board, or safe. The front desk clerks were helpful and pleasant, but the business center needed improvement. There was a cafeteria on the ground floor. Not a good place for a holiday, but it's fine for business.2016-10-31"
"The hotel was convenient to the VA hospital, and the rates were good. I felt secure. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The light switch inside my room door didn't work, and the bedside lamp needed a new lightbulb. Wireless Internet was free, and the coffee maker worked well. No safe in the room, and no toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom. The front desk clerks were helpful and courteous. There was a cafeteria on the ground floor of the building. Good place for a short stay.2016-06-25"
"The hotel needed more parking passes. Get there early.2016-02-11"
"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel as usual. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Convenient to restaurants. You'll have no regrets if you stay here.2016-01-11"
"Our room wasn't ready on time, so we were upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite. The furniture was a little dated, but it was comfortable. The kitchen had been recently upgraded and had new appliances. Remodeling was underway in parts of the hotel. The hallways and common areas were a little dark. The beach, with private access, was very crowded. All the employees were encountered were friendly and accommodating. Nice hotel if you want a fairly quiet, average room.2015-09-22"
"Great location. The condo wasn't that clean, which was too bad; it had a lot of potential. Wouldn't stay again.2015-04-15"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
