"The motel needed updating. Seemed overpriced for the quality. The AC was noisy. The TV was small, and there was no program guide. No complimentary breakfast. I was disappointed.2019-06-05"
"The motel was clean, and the employees were efficient, helpful, and accommodating. Book it.2019-05-20"
"Easy to access. The hotel room was good, clean, and well-appointed. Good service and lots of on-site dining and bar options. There was plenty of parking. Stay here.2020-01-21"
"The hotel was comfortable, and the front desk clerk was helpful. Book it.2019-06-04"
"The hotel setting was beautiful. Good, basic food and coffee, but there were no tea bags in the room. The staff was helpful.2017-06-08"
"There were too many decorative pillows on the bed, which we had to remove for sleeping. The parking fee was ridiculous, and there was no elevator from parking to the lobby; had to climb stairs. Find another hotel - this one wasn't worth the price.2015-06-26"
"The motel staff looked after my family and went above and beyond the call of duty.2022-11-18"
"We didn't get a 1st floor room as requested, but since we couldn't climb the stairs, the motel staff upgraded us to a king room at no additional cost.2018-10-17"
"Excellent service. The motel staff was helpful and friendly.2018-07-10"
"The hotel needed updating, but it was OK for a short stay.2021-11-24"
"The motel was run-down, and the bathroom was dirty. Don't stay here.2021-07-15"
"The motel looked abandoned, and it looked like homeless people were being sheltered there. The room was old and worn, and it smelled strongly of air freshener and made me nauseous. I didn't feel safe and immediately checked out.2021-05-28"

"I spent a night in total luxury at this hotel. Just a 5-minute walk to our cruise ship, and there was even a shuttle service to the ship. No airport shuttle, though, and the taxi wait was about 20 minutes.2016-08-06"
"Conveniently located at the cruise ship terminal. Beautiful hotel with a comfortable, lovely room. The staff was friendly. This is a pricey choice.2016-07-09"
"Nice hotel, but since it was already expensive, it was annoying to have to pay for Internet access. Ideally located for our Alaskan cruise.2016-05-22"
"We arrived late and hungry and were able to order room service and have a good meal. The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. By all means, stay here.2018-06-11"
"This hotel is reliably good. Great location in Gastown near the cruise ship pier. Pleasant employees.2017-05-23"
"Close to the train station, cruise terminal, Stanley Park, and Gastown, and a direct shot to the airport. The hotel was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to store our luggage before and after checkout while we explored the city. Nice view from the outdoor breakfast terrace.2016-07-25"
"Lovely, large hotel room. Great in-room dining service, and the food was fantastic.2015-10-01"
"The hotel was expensive, but the beds were comfortable and the valets were great. The granola at breakfast was delicious.2019-08-25"
"Short walk to the entertainment district and restaurants. We arrived at the hotel early, but the check-in clerk went out of her way to find us a room that was available right away. She was pleasant, efficient, and personable. The room was spacious and attractive, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an extremely comfortable bed. The bellboys were efficient and friendly, and hailed us a cab to the pier within minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.2016-09-28"
"Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff. Excellent restaurant. We stayed 2 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. Appreciated the wine and chocolate-covered strawberries for our anniversary; it was a special gesture. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.2015-05-30"
"The hotel was expensive, and the room was the size of a postage stamp. No complimentary breakfast.2016-05-20"
"The hotel was convenient to Canada Place, and the 2-room suite was an excellent value.2016-05-07"
"We had to park 2 blocks away and walk to the hotel with our luggage. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom, and the toilet ran all night. The room did have a window, but it faced the cement wall of a closed, run-down building. The bed was a double, not a queen. I'd never stay here again.2016-05-03"

I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
