"The hotel was nice and clean, and the front desk clerk was polite. Quick check-in. I had to call the front desk regarding the toilet, and the response was prompt. Good breakfast.2023-12-31"
"The room was clean and comfortable. Friendly, cooperative staff and great breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.2018-05-05"
"Located on a hill, and there was no sign at the entrance; we had a hard time finding it. The hotel was clean and inviting, and the room was extremely nice. The employees were informative and polite. 2017-09-04"

"Close to anything you might need. The hotel room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice pool area.2016-04-28"
"Clean hotel, and the rooms were in an atrium. There were unsupervised children running around the 3rd floor for hours. There was also a loud function going on in the hotel. The pool was supposed to close at 11 PM, but it closed before 10 PM. We were disappointed.2015-04-21"
"I've stayed at this hotel several times because it's clean, the price is right, and I like the amenities. But this stay was dampened by two very loud families staying next to us.2015-03-03"
"Good bed and great TV. I liked that the windows opened and that I could adjust the room temperature. Stay at this hotel.2020-11-05"
"Great location across from the mall and restaurants. The hotel was clean and peaceful, and the room was quiet. There was a small fridge but no microwave.2017-08-28"
"Nice restaurants within walking distance. Cute boutique shops nearby, but they closed early. Great value for the area. The hotel was clean, and the decor was cute. Friendly employees. Breakfast was good.2016-03-19"
"The bed was comfortable, but a double is small for 2 people. OK gym, though not great. Had free coffee in the morning, and free parking. Legends was disorganized and understaffed. If you stay at this hotel, be aware that there may be some confusion about what "free breakfast" means.2015-04-24"
"Easy 5-minute walk from the SEPTA train station. The suite was larger than we expected, and perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was clean. The service was excellent; the hotel employees were incredibly friendly and professional, and answered all our questions and ensured that we had a positive stay. The pool was a bonus, and breakfast had a variety of food. I'd stay here again without hesitation.2022-08-07"
"The hotel was easy to find. Clean environment and friendly staff. Parking was free.2022-02-05"
"Great hotel. I highly recommend staying here.2020-02-16"
"The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good.2018-02-19"
"Convenient to a major highway and close to Philadelphia. The hotel was clean. The manager greeted us when we arrived and did a great job of making us feel welcome. She recommended a great restaurant, too. The breakfast attendants provided excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel.2018-02-01"
"Fast check-in. We waited 45 minutes for a bartender to appear at the bar. We finally asked the hotel clerk, and she said she didn't know where he was.2016-10-31"
"The hotel was conveniently located. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great. Good place to stay.2022-09-05"
"Close to United Lutheran Seminary. The room was spacious and had a fridge and microwave, and the bed was comfortable. Friendly hotel clerks. Good breakfast, but the coffee wasn't great. There was an Indian restaurant on-site. Limited dining in the area.2019-10-11"
"The hotel was clean and well-run. I loved the Indian restaurant; I ate dinner there, and it was delicious.2019-01-20"
"Great experience. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. I definitely recommend staying here.2021-10-11"

"No hand soap in the bathroom, and not enough towels provided. The check-in clerk was about to end his shift and thought he was a standup comedian. I checked with the hotel clerk, and after a long delay in getting the items, I went back to the front desk and finally got soap and towels. The TV didn't work, so I was moved to another room. No daily housekeeping; I requested fresh towels and trash removal, but the housekeeper left the used towels on the floor. The pool wasn't open, a disappointment. I was disappointed.2024-02-12"
"Great location, great accommodations, and great staff. I had a wonderful stay.2021-12-31"
"Great experience. The hotel room was clean, and the staff was wonderful.2022-05-29"
"The hotel room was much smaller than online photos. No movies available on the TV. No working phone. The sofa bed was atrocious. Don't stay here.2021-11-27"
"The hotel was too expensive; I even had to pay for parking. Bring plenty of money, and don't expect to be impressed.2021-05-25"
"My hotel room wasn't cleaned the 2nd day, and when I called the front desk, I was told room servicing had to be requested. This information wasn't conveyed to me at check-in.2021-07-17"
"Our hotel room smelled horrible, and the carpet was soaking wet. We changed rooms, but the 2nd room also had wet carpet. Consider staying elsewhere.2016-08-27"
"Great room, and the hotel staff was excellent. I had a nice stay.2015-08-25"
"Convenient to the mall and major roads. The hotel room was average and had a musty smell. The bed wasn't that comfortable, which was a disappointment, and the pillows were too soft. The employees were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. I recommend staying here.2016-07-11"
"The hotel wasn't clean enough, and it wasn't well-kept. The elevator was too hot.2016-06-02"
"Nice hotel. The room was clean, and the staff was pleasant.2016-04-25"
"The hotel was convenient to the University of Villanova.2021-04-01"
"Easy to access. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. No fridge in the room. Nice bar. The restaurant was pricey but excellent.2017-06-06"
"Just 15 minutes from the Philadelphia Zoo. The hotel was pleasant, and the staff was accommodating. Good on-site restaurant. No fridge in our room; if you need one for medication, make sure to ask ahead of time.2016-09-02"
"The hotel had a musty smell, and rates seemed high.2022-06-01"
"The hotel was average. I was annoyed I couldn't turn the room fan off because it came on automatically with the light. Only one elevator, and it wasn't convenient to my room.2021-10-04"

"The hotel was pleasant and comfortable. It was awesome having a kitchen. One front desk clerk in particular stood out.2018-09-27"
"Conveniently located, but a bit tricky to find the first time. The hotel was fairly bare-bones, but it was certainly adequate for our purpose. There were no kitchen supplies in the room, but the staff provided us with the items we requested. We'd stay here again.2017-10-26"

"The handicap room had a wheelchair-accessible shower, but no bathtub. The hallway had an odor and needed to be aired out.2021-07-07"
"The accommodations were more than adequate; in addition to the kitchen, there was plenty of counter space for computers and other equipment. I was able to use my sewing machine and was even able to line up my materials. I loved all the appliances I could borrow for the room; even games were available. Don't count on stocking your kitchen from the cupboard. We stopped at a grocery store before arriving at the hotel.2017-03-21"
"Great rates. The hotel was clean, and the room had a good bed, nice cabinetry and appliances, and a bathtub. The employees were friendly and helpful with directions. The Iron Abbey restaurant was 10 minutes away, and a favorite of ours. Philadelphia was about a 40-minute drive away.2016-02-25"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
