"The motel room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.2021-05-06"
"We arrived at the motel in a U-Haul truck and were given a room far from where large-vehicle parking was. Music was blasting from a room we passed, and there were 3 non-functioning vending machines in a walkway. The key card didn't work, so one of our group had to walk all the way back to the front desk. The room wasn't heated, and after 30 minutes, the air was still cold. There were stains and cigarette burns on the bedding. We barely slept because it was so cold, and ended up leaving early in the morning. The staff wasn't hospitable. Keep driving.2020-12-30"
"The motel was off the beaten path, and the price was right for a quick stay. Many restaurants not far away. My stay was satisfactory.2016-04-02"
"The motel room was filthy. We couldn't even shower because it looked like someone had vomited in the bathtub. Keep driving.2023-04-20"
"Excellent, helpful staff. There was a party at the motel with loud music until midnight. Consider other options.2023-04-18"
"The room was comfortable and clean, and there were no restrictions on size and number of pets, which was nice. I found it strange that the motel wouldn't take cash for payment. If you have pets, this is a great place to stay.2021-12-22"
"The motel was convenient to restaurants. No issues with the room other than some burned-out lightbulbs. Nice staff. I definitely recommend staying here.2023-12-17"
"The motel had been recently updated. Our room was nice, with fresh paint, drapes, and carpeting. Only one chair for the table, though; we asked for another chair, but there wasn't one available. We appreciated the affordable rates. The continental breakfast was a to-go bag with water and snack bars. We'll definitely be back.2023-08-28"
"We loved this motel. Smoking rooms were available. The room was clean, and the TV channel selection was good. All the employees were super nice. The lounge had good food. Great place for the price.2022-10-30"

"The hotel sign was hard to see, and there was only one way in and out. Check-in and checkout were fast and efficient, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. It was a bit noisy in the early evening as people came and went, but it was quiet by 11 PM. Small parking lot.2019-10-30"
"The room was old and needed upgrading. There were no dishes; we had to call and request a drinking glass. Find another hotel.2018-03-24"
"The hotel was shabby and the doors were rusty. There were stairs just to reach the lobby, and guests staying on the 2nd floor had to haul their luggage up a spiral staircase. My room had a light globe on the dresser; the bedside lamp didn't work. There was construction noise early on Sunday morning. The staff was rude and seemed inconvenienced by guests. I'll never stay here again.2015-10-20"
"The carpet in my hotel room needed vacuuming, and there was hair in the bedsheets. There was toothpaste on the mirror frame.2019-10-14"
"It was hard to regulate the room temperature, and the TV kept shutting off. There were some bugs on the bedside table. The hallways needed vacuuming, and the exterior door wasn't locked; anyone could have walked in. The hotel clerks were always nice, but I wouldn't stay here again.2019-01-18"
"The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I recommend staying here.2018-10-30"
"The hotel was conveniently located. There was a gas station on the corner, and restaurants within walking distance. I didn't get a ground floor room as requested. The room was clean and odor-free, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was courteous. Good breakfast.2022-09-19"
"Convenient to the expressway. Good rates. The hotel was nice and clean. I didn't like having the sink outside the bathroom, though; it was hard to disturb others in the room who were sleeping. The staff was friendly. The pool wasn't open. I'd stay here again.2019-05-08"
"The hotel was dated and not that clean. No coffee pot in the room, and no soda in the vending machine. I had to change rooms because the TV in the 1st room didn't work. Don't stay here.2019-05-04"
"The hotel staff was great, but the roaches in the room were not. An OK place if you're not too picky, and it's pet friendly.2024-01-07"
"The hotel wasn't clean and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. There were crumbs on the chair, and someone had drawn faces on the desk with nail polish. The bathroom sink and toilet were dirty. Consider other options.2022-05-02"
"Nice hotel for a short stay. The room was clean, and the service was exceptional. The employees were nice and accommodating. I recommend staying here.2020-01-12"

"An excellent hotel. The room was fine, and the bed was comfortable. Good breakfast. Unfortunately, my vehicle was burglarized in the parking lot.2023-05-07"
"The hotel room was clean, but we couldn't control the temperature; it was too warm for sleeping. The bathroom door swung to open, making getting in and out of the bathroom a challenge. If you have mobility or weight issues, it might be a problem.2023-05-01"
"The hotel was nice and convenient to the highway exit. The room was nice, but the bathroom was small. The front desk staff was friendly.2023-03-22"
"Good hotel for the price. It was clean and comfortable. I loved the art work on the walls, but the room needed fresh paint. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept well. Don't let the peeling paint on the ceiling put you off.2022-10-22"
"The hotel was clean. No clock in the room, and I never got one despite asking. There was mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain. I had to pay for early check-in even though the hotel wasn't full or busy. The front desk clerks weren't friendly.2022-08-23"
"The 1st room was dirty and there were stains on the walls. The chair was filthy. The bed was comfortable. OK hotel for one night.2021-04-07"
"The room was OK, but the decor was dark and dated. The bed was pushed back in a corner, making it hard to an older person to get into bed. The lobby was dated and felt enclosed. Good staff, but the hotel was uninviting.2022-06-28"
"The hotel room was nice and spacious, and I was impressed with the amenities. However, there was a lot of construction going on in the area, and a fire alarm went off during our stay. No continental breakfast provided.2019-06-15"
"Everything was great. The hotel was clean, and the staff was helpful and nice.2018-09-03"
"The carpet in the lobby and hallway was stained. The hallway and elevator were poorly lit. Find another hotel.2023-07-23"
"This hotel was worth the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was courteous. Ask for a room on the side of the building away from I-75.2023-05-22"
"The hotel room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Great breakfast.2022-04-16"
"This hotel was a pit. The 1st room smelled like bleach, and water leaked from the toilet. I was moved to a nicer room, but the electricity didn't work in 3/4 of the room. The employees were pleasant enough, but I don't recommend staying here.2021-06-14"
"I'm disabled, and it took 2.5 hours to actually get in a room. The key card didn't work, so I had to return to the front desk because the hotel clerk didn't offer assistance when I called. I got another room, but it was way too warm. After returning to the front desk, I was finally given a handicap room, but again had trouble with the key card. I was too tired to go back to the front desk and sat down in front of the room. The clerk walked by and ignored me, but her friend managed to get my door open. Don't stay here.2020-06-12"
"The hotel was noisy the last night. Two of the front desk clerks were rude, but the evening clerk was pleasant. Breakfast was nice, but stay somewhere else.2023-04-14"
"Great place to stay. The hotel was clean, and the staff was pleasant. Great location within walking distance of Waffle House and Texas Road House.2023-02-16"
"The hotel was clean, but there was no daily housekeeping. My bed wasn't made, I didn't get fresh towels, and the garbage can wasn't emptied. No ice in the ice machine, so I had to go to a nearby hotel to get some.2020-06-17"
"The hotel was clean. The room was spacious and had nice amenities. I liked the furniture layout. The employees were nice, friendly, and efficient. Good breakfast with many selections. Worth a stay.2022-08-26"
"Great hotel with accommodating personnel. My only complaint is that the housekeeper didn't come until almost 4 PM.2018-07-05"
"An excellent hotel for an overnight stay.2021-12-08"
"Clean hotel with friendly personnel. Our room was clean and spacious, with a full kitchen and even a dishwasher. The sofa bed wasn't comfortable, but the regular beds were. The employees were really nice. There was a good-sized pool and whirlpool, a small basketball court, and a nice seating area outside with a large fire pit. Breakfast was good. Nice place to stay.2019-04-02"
"An excellent hotel. The room was clean, and the front desk clerk was helpful. Breakfast was just OK, and the toaster didn't work.2017-11-24"
"My only problem at this hotel was that housekeepers knocked on the door at 7:30, 8:30, and 10 AM and woke us up.2017-11-13"
"Great central location near restaurants and the airport. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Excellent continental breakfast.2017-10-03"
"The motel smelled like a hospital. There was hair in the bedsheets, and the bedspread was dirty. If your expectations are low, this is the place for you.2018-11-09"
"An average, cheap motel. The room smelled musty, and the carpet needed to be replaced.2018-07-09"
"Nothing fancy, but the motel was clean and the staff was nice. Good place to stay.2017-08-16"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
