"Nice hotel near good restaurants. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and check-in was pleasant. The AC was loud, but that was the only negative.2018-08-14"
"The hotel smelled like marijuana. There was a cigarette burn on the bed, and the bedsheet was stained. The night clerk was horrible and lacked customer service skills. I left after one night. Not a good experience.2017-08-24"
"The hotel was adequate and everything was in working order, but the the decor and overall look were kind of seedy. One elevator made a banging sound each time it opened. An OK value if you don't need to be impressed or pampered.2017-07-13"
"Nice hotel, but not upscale. The rooms surround the common area below, so it was noisy; we were on the 2nd floor and could hear people talking even when they weren't being loud. There were dirty dishes in the hallway for 3 days. The restaurant doesn't open when the hotel isn't busy. The same menu was served at the bar, but it wasn't a comfortable place to eat a full meal. The bartender was the one bright spot; she both tended bar and served the food.2019-12-02"
"The room was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.2017-08-10"
"The room was clean, but noise from a party next door kept me awake until 2 AM. The hotel clerks were busy and weren't helpful when I asked for directions.2016-09-28"
"The hotel was just acceptable. It was clean but rather tired looking. The hallway floors felt slanted, and there were no grab bars in the shower.2018-12-04"
"The hotel was under construction, which was unfortunate. Poor pet access. There was mold around the ice machine drain. Good breakfast with a helpful, cheerful attendant.2017-12-29"
"The hotel room was clean and affordable, and the staff was accommodating to our dog. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Great attached restaurant with good food and friendly wait staff. You won't be disappointed.2017-05-23"
"Nice location less than a minute from Rte. 17. Our studio was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated, and we liked being on the 1st floor near the pool, front desk, and breakfast area. The housekeeper noticed a bit of blood on my husband's pillowcase from home and took it to wash, which was very thoughtful. The hotel clerk was helpful and friendly. The small pool was dirty, and the water was cloudy. Get to breakfast early, especially on weekends; it was crowded and the table and floor got dirty quickly. The food was slow to be replenished.2019-07-31"
"Good hotel in a great location. Better vacuuming was needed, but that was the only negative.2018-07-02"
"We checked in at 4 PM and found the the room wasn't ready and the housekeeper was sitting on the bed. We went down to the bar for a while. When we went back to the room, it had been given to another guest. The lights and AC in the 2nd room didn't work. We've stayed at this hotel 3 times, and it's gone downhill each time. We won't stay here again.2022-10-19"
"Clean hotel with nice personnel. Unfortunately, the pool was closed and breakfast was to-go. Just a place to sleep.2021-06-02"
"The motel was dirty, and check-in was terrible. Not a good stay.2015-08-06"
"I reserved 3 rooms and was disappointed. One smelled like pipe smoke, and another one had bedsheets that smelled like cigarette smoke. Only one room was clean and well-maintained. When I asked for new sheets, the hotel clerk treated me horribly.2015-06-24"

"Conveniently located. The suite was clean and comfortable. Check-in went smoothly. The employees were friendly and helpful; they made sure we were in a 1st floor room near an exterior door since we were traveling with our old dog. The hotel had food we could buy and cook in our room. We were pleased with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.2015-07-19"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
