Located at the end of the strip by the zoo, park, and Diamond Head - the beach was across the street - pretty good price for the area - hotel had a fun, casual, funky decor and atmosphere - room was a bit small, but clean and well-maintained - loved the surfboard sign in the lobby - small, simple pool - continental breakfast on the beach was handy, but it ended at 9 AM - outdoor tiki lounge with live music was a charming way to end the evening - elevator was slow and always crowded - parking fee was an unpleasant surprise - Aug 2008
Convenient and clean - staff was friendly - nice continental breakfast - had a guitarist and hula dancer in the morning, and live music at night - key card didn't always work for the elevator - parking wasn't free - had a nice time - Jul 2008
Great location and value - employees were courteous and helpful - breakfast on the beach was a bonus - had to use key card for elevator, and sometimes it didn't work - valet parking was kind of a pain, had to wait in line to park and to get car - May 2007
