Grand Cayman Island Cayman Islands Hotels, Resorts, Condos: A Helpful Guide
Welcome to our Grand Cayman Island hotels guide ... where you'll find honest, concise hotel reviews, all discounts, a lowest rate guarantee, and no booking fees.
Grand Cayman Island is known for its scuba diving and beautiful beaches. It caters to water sports enthusiasts and people looking for a laid-back vacation. It does not have much of a party scene.
Grand Cayman can become quite crowded with families during the week between Christmas and New Year's. Other busy times include Pirates Week in November and the Cayman Jazz Fest in late November or early December.
The green hotel cost key ($) represents prices for the high season (mid-December to mid-April).
Attention travelers with pets: A pet passport is required. Currently, the Ritz-Carlton is the only hotel that will accept pets (up to 30 lbs).

Hotel Reviews
Editor comment: Fitness center is one of the best on island. However, there are only 125 oceanfront rooms for guests. The rest of the rooms are in section of the hotel across the street from the main hotel and beachfront. Many of these rooms have lackluster views, despite their relatively high prices compared to other hotels around island. All guests have full access to the beach and all other hotel amenities, but guests staying across road have to walk across street or skywalk to access them. The Ritz looks like a towering monstrosity compared to the other more subdued hotels on island - Jan 2006
