Hotel was actually a renovated apartment complex - secluded location away from main street - ceilings and walls were too thin - room was noisy from street activity - only 1 set of towels for 5 of us - front desk staff doesn't answer the phone or communicate well - we asked for towels and got sheets; needed more shampoo and got mouthwash - manager on duty was snooty - needed bigger parking spaces - Oct 2007
Room needed updating - AC didn't work properly - pay-per-view only worked on TV in bedroom - parking was pricey - disappointed - Apr 2007

Former Bel Age hotel renovated into a trendy but cool boutique hotel - short walk to The Whiskey, The Comedy Store, Book Soup, The Viper Room, and loads of great restaurants and shops - my room was ready upon arrival and I was warmly welcomed - luxuriant suite with flat-screen LCD TV, iHome docking station for iPod, private terrace, full wet-bar, and nice mood lighting - opulent bathroom with dual showerheads and separate soaking tub, so heavenly I didn't want to leave - hotel staff service was solid and concierge was 24-hours a day - bonus: complimentary calls to London, England! - I'll be back - Jul 2008
