Nice, quiet room - beds were fabulous - lobby was beautifully restored - nice courtyard and pool area - no continental breakfast provided, and the buffet was pricey - lovely place to stay - Jun 2009
Our upgraded room was a wonderful surprise - staff was kind and thoughtful, especially the wonderful women in gift shop - pool wasn't clean so we couldn't take a swim - Sep 2007
Historic hotel - room had nice balcony - bed linens were threadbare, drapes were dirty - found glass in carpet from broken window pane in french doors - bathroom was recently updated - outstanding breakfast buffet - Feb 2007

Good location - bed and furniture in room were old - the floor and chairs in the pool area were dirty - not a good experience - Aug 2011
Room wasn't ready at check-in time, and it was dirty and smelly - the door looked like it had been kicked in - the carpet turned our socks black - bedspreads were filthy and torn - window screen was damaged - I'd rather sleep in a dumpster; we didn't stay - Aug 2011

Room was fairly clean, but the carpet was stained - bathroom sink was supported by a 2 x 4 piece of wood - bathtub drained slowly - I was disturbed a few times by people looking for guests in another room - I got a call from the front desk clerk about a reservation matter; the office was closed, so I had to resolve the matter at the outdoor office window - found trash in the parking lot - not a good experience - Sep 2010
