Beautiful, historic hotel - appreciated the upgrade to a quiet, top-floor room - lovely room with nice, soft beds - gorgeous marble bathroom - needed instructions for the whirlpool tub - shower and tub enclosure was so big that I had a hard time climbing into it; someone less agile would have to sit on the enclosure to get in - the sinks were a bit too high for me - staff was extremely professional and courteous - the concierge used her connections and charm to get us a table at a popular restaurant at the last minute - nice lounge - don't miss the on-site art gallery - a classy, elegant hotel in every way - May 2010
Great location near restaurants, bars, and shops - room was nice - loved the countertop-mounted sinks; they were just the right height for a tall person - it was awkward getting into the large shower and whirlpool tub enclosure - outstanding service from the time we arrived until we left; all the employees were helpful and welcoming - enjoyed my stay - May 2010
