"Located in older, downtown area not far from LAX; not the best area, but I felt safe enough - lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby - good place for the price - I had pets with me, so I was put in a 1st-floor room near the lobby; didn't enjoy hearing people scream at the front desk clerk at 3 AM almost every night - room was fairly clean, but the carpet was so filthy it turned my socks and cats' paws black - had a kitchen with dishes, cookware, and utensils - the window faced a wall - housekeeper made the bed and replaced the towels, but never vacuumed or changed the bedding during my 14-night stay - staff was friendly and always greeted me - had an exercise room - laundry machines always seemed to be in use - small snack shop operated on the honor system - appreciated the free, gated parking.2012-10-01"
