"Good hotel. The rates were reasonable, and the room was clean and comfortable.2023-08-06"
"The hotel was awful. No closet in the room. The other guests made me uncomfortable. No breakfast food in the dining room. Don't stay here.2022-08-16"
"The hotel wasn't fancy, but the room was clean, quiet, and odor-free. The towels and linens were clean. Poor TV reception, but free wireless Internet was provided. If you just want a decent place to sleep, this will do just fine.2016-08-29"

"We walked in, looked at our room, and immediately walked out. It was so filthy I didn't want to touch anything. We went to the front desk to let the clerk know we weren't staying, but there was no one there. After waiting for 10 minutes, we just left. Don't stay at this hotel.2019-10-08"
"The hotel was more geared toward corporate meetings than individual guests. The room was spacious and clean. It wasn't serviced during our 3-night stay, but it wasn't a big problem for us. I was unhappy with the lack of complimentary coffee, and breakfast was expensive. Parking was convenient.2015-09-21"
"My hotel room was never cleaned after I arrived, but that was my only complaint.2023-06-19"
"A no-frills hotel, but the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. No complaints.2022-10-26"
"The hotel and room were clean, and the staff and other guests were friendly. I had a peaceful stay with no disturbing noises. The food at the hot breakfast buffet was lukewarm, though, and the food sat there for quite a while.2022-07-06"

"I was disappointed with my hotel room. The carpet and bathroom floor weren't clean, and the only things that were accessible were the wide doorways and adaptive sink countertop in the bathroom. The toilet was low, and there was no walk-in shower. The front desk clerk wasn't friendly or forthcoming with answers to our questions.2021-07-27"
"The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but the ice bucket was broken. The blinds pull was broken and sharp. The shower water was lukewarm. No hair dryer. I was told at check-in that there was a breakfast, but that wasn't true. I was disappointed.2021-07-27"

"The hotel was clean and modern, and had special touches to make it unique and comfortable. There was a bowl of water and a bowl of dog treats at the entrance. The room was spacious and had plenty of storage space. The check-in clerks were exceptionally nice and went out of their way to be hospitable. The chairs by the pool were comfortable. We can't wait to stay here again.2022-01-04"
"Close to restaurants and Otterbein University. The hotel was reasonably priced, and I loved the clean, efficient room.2019-08-13"
"Located in an upscale neighborhood with lots of restaurant choices. Easy access to stores and major highways. Good value. The hotel room was spacious and had a separate sitting area. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. 2019-10-23"

"The room was fine, but the motel was too close to the highway. I was disappointed that there was no continental breakfast.2019-08-26"
"The motel was clean and affordable. We were happy.2019-08-26"
"The motel was in a good location. Clean, spacious room, but the bed was too hard. The hallway and my "non-smoking" room smelled like stale smoke. You get what you pay for.2015-10-26"
"The hotel was reasonably clean. No microwave in the room; I had to go to the 1st floor to use the guest microwave.2023-11-01"
"This is a reasonable, no-frills hotel, but it was clean and had friendly, accommodating employees.2021-03-13"
"This hotel wasn't worth the price. It wasn't particularly clean, and there was something wrong with the door handle that made it difficult to get in our room. Don't stay here.2019-10-04"
"No hot water for showers when I stayed at the hotel.2022-08-18"
"Convenient, but not a great value. The room was decent, but the bed was uncomfortable and the carpet needed vacuuming. No hot water for showers. I was moved to another room. The TV in the sitting area didn't work, so I sat at the desk and watched the TV in the bedroom. The hotel clerks were really nice and helpful, and resolved any problem I had. 2022-08-07"
"The last time I stayed here, the room was outstanding. This time the room was average. Breakfast was a disappointment, too.2021-10-18"

"The hotel was clean and served its purpose. Awesome area with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Be aware of the $100 deposit for incidentals.2023-05-21"
"This hotel is a great place to stay. I appreciated the hospitality and services.2019-10-14"
"Clean hotel with nice personnel. I recommend staying here.2017-10-30"
"Just a normal hotel. Breakfast wasn't free.2017-01-09"
"Close to restaurants and shops. This was one of our best hotel stays in recent years. The room was nice and clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was helpful and courteous, especially the front desk clerks.2016-08-12"
"Across the street from Easton Mall. The hotel was clean, and the the atmosphere was so friendly. Had a coffee bar and cocoa bar, which my granddaughters enjoyed. Stay here.2018-03-31"
"No fridge in the room, and I needed one for my medication. The hotel clerks weren't cordial. I wasn't impressed.2017-10-16"
"The hotel staff was friendly. I enjoyed my stay.2017-09-06"
"Nice hotel. The front desk clerks were kind enough to bring a mini fridge to our room when we returned from dinner so we wouldn't have to throw out our leftovers. Request a room without an adjoining door; our neighbors were noisy.2015-09-14"
"Good location. Great hotel. My only issue was with the lack of parking; I had to park in an adjacent lot, then move the car in the early morning.2015-03-12"
"The front desk was woefully understaffed. I called to let the hotel know we'd be late; the 1st call went unanswered. I was put on hold for 10 minutes the 2nd time I called. This caused me to be late for an event. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. As an older couple, we requested a room on the 1st or 2nd floor, but instead got a room on the 5th and highest floor. The room was spacious, but the flooring was mostly hardwood and ceramic tile, which was hard and slippery. There was only a tiny table and bench to put luggage on. There were too many negatives to recommend this hotel.2023-04-20"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
