"The room wasn't appealing. The water taps were hard to turn. The hotel clerk was unfriendly. Poor breakfast. Stay here only if you don't have other options.2021-07-18"
"This is a high-quality hotel. The staff was professional, and breakfast was good. We had a great stay.2017-04-27"
"Everything was great, but the room carpet needed shampooing. OK hotel.2015-11-08"
"Close to the interstate, restaurants, and gas stations. Good value. The hotel was clean and easy to find, and our room was quite nice. Check-in and checkout were quick and efficient. Stay here.2023-01-16"
"The hotel was comfortable, and the attached restaurant was wonderful. No gluten-free options at breakfast, though.2021-01-07"
"The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the employees were helpful.2020-10-28"
"The hotel was reasonably priced. We stayed twice in one week, and both times the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Easy check-in and nice hot breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.2019-07-11"
"The hotel needed a good cleaning. The bathroom sink didn't drain well, and the bathtub dripped. The coffee was barely warm. Don't stay here.2022-03-26"
"We were satisfied with our stay. Book at room at this hotel.2021-03-23"
"The hotel was farther from BYU than I expected, but the location was decent. The front desk clerks were responsive, helpful, and courteous, and breakfast was great.2019-05-06"

"The hotel was a 10-minute walk to the BYU football stadium. The room was spacious, but the carpet was dirty and urgently needed to be replaced. Friendly staff and tasty continental breakfast.2023-11-20"
"Perfect location and service, and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. But breakfast at the bistro was overpriced, and the food was terrible. The washing machine didn't go into spin cycle, so my clothes were soaking wet; it took 4 cycles in the dryer to dry them.2016-08-24"
"A quiet, restful stay. I recommend this hotel.2016-07-27"

"The motel was dirty, so I didn't stay.2021-10-28"
"This motel was awful. The deadbolt lock on my room door didn't work, and neither did the swing lock. It wasn't fixed during my stay. Avoid this place.2017-09-19"
"I liked the area, and the rates were low. The motel employees were nice. Unfortunately, I found hairs in the bedding, and it was noisy in the morning. The housekeeper pestered me to leave before checkout time, and I had to move the housekeeping cart from right in front of my room to be out by 11 AM sharp.2020-05-05"
"The motel was clean, and we were able to check in early. The front desk clerk could've been friendlier and could have smiled more. Good breakfast.2019-07-19"
"Nice motel and room, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The continental breakfast was a joke, though.2019-03-25"
"Poor customer service. I had trouble getting my room door open; the hotel clerk told me to pull and push on the handle, and it worked after a few tries. When I returned from an appointment the next day, the key card wouldn't work even after it was reprogrammed. A maintenance worker finally came, but I ended being late to my son's wedding. Stay elsewhere.2016-11-07"

"The hotel room was nice and clean. It got too warm at night, and I couldn't figure out how to use the AC. Check-in was fast and easy. Good complimentary breakfast with lots of options.2017-03-21"
"Nice, clean, quiet hotel. The bathroom was small and inconvenient for 4 people. A staff member spoke rudely to my husband in the breakfast room in front of others. The other employees were pleasant.2016-03-24"
"The beds were too soft for us. The kitchenette was wonderful and clean. Loved having a fridge and counter space. All 4 chairs in the room needed to be reupholstered or replaced. There was a strange odor by the chairs, too. The vanity area outside the bathroom was carpeted instead of tiled like the bathroom. The hotel clerks and housekeepers were very nice.2015-05-01"
"Close to the interstate, but the hotel was nice and quiet. The staff was really friendly. Good continental breakfast with a lot to choose from. Ask for a room away from the ice machine.2016-04-14"
I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
