"The motel was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast and garden, and the lounge was beautiful. The customer service was outstanding. Visit the pool, garden, and restaurant.2023-07-06"
"We were disappointed that the wireless Internet worked for our laptop, but not our tablet or cell phones. We weren't willing to pay extra for better access. No complimentary breakfast. There were only 3 luggage carts, and they weren't available when we checked out. We won't stay at this hotel again.2017-07-19"
"The hotel was close to 25th Street, the hub of town. There was a slight odor in the room when we arrived. The staff was friendly. Good place to stay.2022-05-15"
"The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel clerks were friendly, helpful, and wonderful. I'd return just because of them. Don't use elevator 2; it made sounds that made me nervous for my safety.2022-07-22"
"My hotel stay was awful. Kids ran up and down the hallways and played loud music. I called the front desk, and they told them twice to be quiet. At 4 AM, a loudspeaker went off with someone saying, "Attention, we have an announcement." This happened twice. Don't stay here.2021-02-08"
"Close to the hospital. The motel room was dirty. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived, and someone was being arrested and removed from the premises. We decided not to stay and don't recommend it.2018-05-06"
"Good experience. The room was clean and away from the elevator as requested. We were traveling with a dog and cat, and the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. No microwave or fridge, though. We felt safe and left feeling rested. The employees were nice and accommodating.2018-07-11"
"There was no one at the front desk when I arrived; I pushed what looked like a doorbell, and eventually a woman came out. She wasn't friendly, but checked us in. Later at night when we returned from a family event, we discovered that the toilet was clogged. The bathtub didn't drain well. The morning clerk was nice and helpful.2021-01-18"
"Easy to access from the highway. The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant, but the surroundings weren't particularly pleasant. There was a tire shop next door and a little industrial park in the area. Worst of all, the railroad track was right by the hotel, so it was hard to sleep due to train noise. No restaurants nearby. The room needed better soundproofing. Don't stay here if you're a light sleeper.2019-11-14"
"The hotel charged a $50 deposit. The room was clean, but the lobby needed some cleaning. The clientele looked shady to me. You get what you pay for.2021-05-12"
"A good, clean hotel. The pool was closed, and there was no breakfast because of Covid-19. Considering the circumstances, I had a nice stay.2020-04-02"
"The hotel was comfortable and priced well, and the room was clean. I loved the soft, comfortable beds. Great customer service. I recommend staying here.2020-08-04"
"The room door had to be forced shut, and we had trouble with the key card and had to have it replaced. The hotel pool was clean, and breakfast was really great.2016-05-10"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
