"The floor was dirty, and the bed was horrible. Don't stay at this hotel.2018-07-15"
"The hotel was dirty. The people in the room next to us screamed and cursed, and the staff did nothing despite my complaints. I didn't feel like it was a safe environment.2016-08-03"

"The hotel room smelled like cigarette smoke, so we asked for another room. The 2nd room smelled like mildew, but we just endured it. All 3 mornings we stayed, housekeeping mopped the area outside the breakfast room during breakfast hours, so it smelled strongly of cleaners while we were eating. The breakfast was already unappetizing enough. Stay somewhere else.2023-10-23"

"Great location. The hotel was clean, but I had to call for help with the TV. The remote control batteries were replaced, and it turned out the TV wasn't plugged in. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional.2023-02-09"
"The hotel was clean and attractive, and located in a safe area on top of a hill. It felt isolated. My only complaint was the lack of coffee service and the careless personnel; I asked for a wake-up call and never got one. The employees were invisible and unhelpful.2021-03-23"
"The hotel room was humid, and the AC didn't work. I called the front desk and the AC turned on at 3:09 AM. Someone tried to enter our room while we were sleeping because the staff mistakenly gave them keys to our room. The bedding made us all itch. The front desk clerks weren't nice or competent. Not a good place to stay.2019-07-13"
"I have nothing negative to stay about this lovely hotel. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and elegant. Wonderful staff. A light breakfast was available at 4:30 AM, and there was a shuttle to the airport. We were able to leave our parked car for $20 while we were on our trip. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport at 1:30 AM when we returned. It was so nice not to have to haul luggage and look for our vehicle in an airport parking garage. This place is an excellent choice.2019-06-26"
"The hotel had friendly employees and fantastic amenities. There were restaurants nearby. Great shuttle service. 2019-04-24"
"Great hotel stay. The staff was helpful, and I liked the hot breakfast.2016-08-24"

"We had a pleasant stay. The master bedroom was a little tight, but it was nice. I loved the staff; they treated my family with the utmost respect. Stay at this hotel.2019-06-24"
"The hotel was clean, the room was large, and the staff was friendly. Bring your own pillow, though.2019-04-23"
"Excellent room and good front desk service. I loved this hotel. The only complaint was that the sink and bathtub drained slowly. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it.2018-01-31"
"The employees were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They were always available to answer my questions. I'd stay at this hotel again.2021-07-25"

"Good value. The exterior and lobby were well-appointed, and the hotel appeared newer. Nice, clean, spacious room with simple thermostat control. The bathroom was big and clean, and plenty of towels were provided. Check-in was seamless, and the front desk clerks were friendly and professional. Coffee was available, but there was no continental breakfast. Soft drinks, snacks, and toiletries were available in an on-site shop. Plenty of free parking.2017-01-05"
"Good experience. The hotel was convenient to SeaWorld. The room had 2 queen beds and a sofa bed, so everyone in the family had a place to sleep. The staff was nice and professional, and the kids enjoyed the free breakfast. The complimentary dinner was a nice surprise.2016-12-31"
"Just half a block from the Alamo. The hotel was lovely, and the staff was helpful and solicitous concerning safety. Ask about nearby parking, which was super easy, but not the hotel garage situation I expected. I'll definitely stay here again.2022-07-18"
"Breakfast was disappointing.2017-09-19"
"Just a few steps from River Walk. Great rates. The hotel room was clean and spacious, and all the employees were friendly and attentive.2017-07-14"
"Nice hotel on a quiet street, and it was the perfect walking distance from Alamo Dome and River Walk. Finding the front door and unloading was a bit confusing; we had to park on the street while checking in, but once checked in, parking was simple. Absolutely a 5-star experience.2023-12-30"
"I loved this hotel and my room. It was beautiful, super clean, and didn't have any nasty smells. All the employees were so nice and welcoming. I give the dining room 5 stars; the food was great, and so was the chef. I'll stay here again.2023-08-15"
"The hotel room wasn't clean, so we moved to another room. It was cleaner, but had a sticky floor and crumbs on the kitchen counter.2016-11-17"
HotelGuides made it easy to choose a hotel based on how far we wanted to get that day. Also liked being able to see the interstate interchange on the map to determine how far off the highway each hotel was.
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
