"I had an awesome hotel stay. The customer service was perfect. Come here ready to relax.2019-05-07"
"Close to Baylor and moderately priced. The hotel was in fair condition. Because it was busy, we had to park in a lot across the street, which made us a little uneasy.2018-08-19"
"Good location and rates. The hotel staff was great.2018-05-15"
"The hotel was convenient to Baylor and just across the circle from Magnolia Table. The lobby area really needed cleaning and remodeling, but the room was clean and spacious, and the AC worked well. Reasonable rates, too. The eating area was clean, and the food was good.2018-04-17"
"Clean hotel. The room was big, and the staff was pleasant. Great place to stay.2017-04-23"
"The hotel was new and had a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The clerk was friendly and efficient, and provided restaurant and activity suggestions. There was ample seating in the lobby. Breakfast was provided, and the dining area was roomy and comfortable. I recommend staying here.2019-03-03"
"Close to all the clinics and the hospital. Everything was at our fingertips, including malls and Short Stop stations. The hotel was really clean, and the staff was nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The front desk clerks were awesome.2021-09-02"
"The hotel room was stifling hot and didn't cool down until 1 AM. The bedroom was musty. The staff was nonchalant about our problem. No hot breakfast. Too few amenities for the price.2021-05-01"
"The hotel room didn't have a microwave, and the phone line wasn't connected. The TV didn't work. Don't stay here.2021-02-25"

"I was impressed with our hotel room, which was quite spacious. The big drawback was the barking dogs and running children. I complained twice, but the noise continued. Not a pleasant night.2019-03-05"
"The hotel was well-maintained, and our room was convenient, clean, and quiet. The employees were helpful with directions and information about the area.2018-05-24"
"The motel was just across the street from the football stadium, so the location was perfect. The room was clean, and everything worked. No breakfast provided, though.2019-10-16"
"Good motel, but I heard some traffic noise from the nearby major highway.2018-11-17"
"The pass code for the WiFi never worked. The bathroom smelled like urine. We were told that breakfast started at 6 AM, but when we got there at 7 AM, all that was available was mini muffins. The coffee wasn't even made yet. Don't stay at this motel.2018-10-15"
"Great place for the price. I stayed at this motel for 4 nights. The room was nice and clean and had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The AC worked well. The staff was friendly, and dogs were allowed without a fee. I had no issues whatsoever and would definitely stay again.2018-07-31"
"The motel was old but OK, and the price was right. Pleasant check-in and checkout. No towels in the room, but the front desk clerk gave us some when we let him know. Nice breakfast with a variety of choices.2016-12-05"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
