"I got stuck in the smoking section of the hotel, and the neighbor's smoke came in my room. Someone knocked on my door in the middle of the night; it was 2 girls asking for a ride.2021-06-23"
"Good hotel with almost everything I needed for an extended stay. The suite had a kitchenette, but no dishes or cookware. The staff was totally awesome. My stay was pleasant.2019-11-06"
"A bad experience. People were hanging around the walkways all evening drinking and arguing, and management didn't do anything about it. There was a loud fight in the room next to mine. Choose another hotel.2016-03-08"

"The beds were extremely comfortable. The sofa pulled out to a bed, but the mattress was thin. I was pleased that the kitchen was well-stocked; even dishwashing liquid was provided. Good-sized bathroom with a full-length mirror. My only complaint was that the room faced the noisy interstate; I had to use ear plugs. Still, this hotel had much to offer for the price.2022-01-17"

"Just a block from the Majestic Theater, but my stay was a nightmare. I got a text from the hotel asking for a selfie and why I was in Dallas. It was a maze getting to my floor. The room was a pretentious little box with a herringbone floor but nothing to welcome guests. The phone key didn't work, so security had to let me in the room. No room service; I was told I'd have to go to the lobby or the 48th floor to get a pizza. I was told the floors for guests were secure, but that wasn't the case. The ceiling fan was attached to a bright censor light, and it stopped working after a half hour. The toilet paper was cheap. Check-in was virtual, and no information was provided. Do not stay here.2022-05-06"
"The hotel was clean and quiet, and within walking distance of the West End. Great view from the room. The front desk clerks were friendly, but the valet staff didn't help us unload the car.2021-03-12"
"I was impressed with the appearance and cleanliness of my hotel room, and having 2 TVs was nice. I didn't hear any noise from other guests. No printed information about local attractions or restaurants, but the staff was helpful with information. You won't be disappointed.2019-03-25"

"The hotel was hard to find, and the lobby smelled like rotten eggs.2016-11-05"
"The perfect hotel for going to a Stars game and then flying out of Dallas Love Field. Just 2 blocks from American Airlines Arena, so we walked to the game. The room itself was nice, with a bedroom and sofa bed.2015-04-16"
"Close to Dallas Presbyterian Hospital. The room smelled bad, and I woke up to a lady screaming in the parking lot for an hour. I won't stay here again.2021-03-21"
"My accessible room had an open feel. The windows opened, and pets were allowed. The kitchen was efficiently equipped. The hotel staff was accommodating. I'd stay here again.2020-11-02"

HotelGuides has won my confidence as a booking experience that is seamless and simple enough for a consumer who does not venture online much. It is now my starting place for fast, secure, carefree booking.
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
