"The hotel sign claimed they'd make any problems right, but that wasn't my experience. The staff wasn't responsive to my request to resolve issues with the WiFi.2018-12-20"
"The hotel was convenient to downtown. The water pressure was poor, but the cookies were delicious. I had a great stay.2018-03-10"
"Not a good value. At check-in, the hotel makes guests sign a no partying agreement. I was fine with that, but I called several times in the early morning to complain about loud, partying guests and nothing was done. I'll never stay here again.2023-03-14"
"The hotel had a nice, upscale atmosphere, and I loved the decor. Everything was easy. Great on-site restaurant. Staying here felt like a treat.2019-03-08"
"A beautiful hotel with clean rooms. Parking was valet only, though.2018-05-14"
"Convenient to the convention center. Old hotel with charm and a musty smell. Clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed. The hair dryer didn't work; it was replaced, but not in time for me to use it. The water temperature in the shower kept fluctuating, and the bathtub was slippery. The breakfast buffet at the Huerta Cafe wasn't good. I never saw security at the parking garage. All in all, a so-so stay.2015-07-14"
"Nice hotel for a good price. Highly recommend.2015-07-01"
"Great downtown location, and across the street from the convention center. Nice hotel, though it needed updating. The staff was professional and friendly.2015-04-28"
"The hotel had no heat and no hot water. Bring blankets and shower elsewhere.2017-12-13"
"Convenient to downtown with easy access to freeways. The hotel room wasn't warm enough, though we turned the heater on high. The shower water was lukewarm at best.2017-12-11"
"Our hotel stay was excellent. We'd definitely return.2017-03-22"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
