"The hallway on my floor reeked of cigarette smoke that carried into my room. I found a hair in the bed that wasn't mine. It seemed like there was a layer of grime on everything., and the chairs were stained. The wireless Internet connection was incredibly slow. There was blood splatter on the bathroom wall. No toiletries provided. The ride-share coupons I picked up in the lobby had expired several months earlier. Don't stay at this hotel.2016-10-10"

"The hotel room was nice, clean, and recently renovated. The staff was responsive, kind, considerate, and proactively helpful. The rates were fair, and I didn't have a single problem. Great exercise room, and convenient to key intersections.2023-02-12"

"The hotel was clean, updated, and quiet. Good-sized room with a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker with Starbucks coffee and tea options. Nice desk space and sofa bed. Good-sized bathroom. Nice breakfast included.2016-04-25"
"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The free water made the heat bearable. The bar was well-stocked, and all the employees were helpful. The one negative was that the room wasn't cleaned until after 4 PM the 1st 4 days of my stay.2019-09-06"
"Great location. The hotel was clean, quiet, and wonderfully decorated. The AC in our room worked extremely well. Excellent personnel; they went out of their way to meet our needs. Outstanding in-room breakfast. Happy hour in the atrium was enjoyable and relaxing.2015-07-27"
"Good motel for a reasonable price. The carpet in our room was filthy and turned my feet black. No counter space for toiletries in the bathroom. The employees made me feel comfortable. Breakfast was good, but the dining area was too small and didn't have enough seating.2019-06-06"
"Good location and rates. The room was spacious and comfortable enough, but it wasn't ready when I arrived. I had to wait nearly 3 hours for it to be cleaned, and it hadn't been properly serviced. The sink and faucets were dirty, and there was debris in the kitchen sink. The hotel clerk assured me the situation would be handled the next day, but nothing was done. Limited exercise room, but at least I got my cardio workout. My key card didn't work the last night, and the clerk was reluctant to give me a new key. Despite the shortcomings, I'd stay here again.2018-02-25"
"We were initially given a smoking room that was dirty and had roaches crawling everywhere. But after calling and complaining, we were put in a better room. After that, our hotel stay was good.2015-04-01"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
