"We checked in after 9 PM, and found that the TV in our hotel room didn't work. We called the front desk, and after waiting over an hour for someone to come fix it, we gave up and went to sleep. My son had a room next to ours, and his TV didn't work, either. Don't stay here.2022-10-19"
"The room was excellent. I'll come back to this hotel again soon.2020-06-30"

"Great location. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Stay here.2016-06-08"
"A positive experience from check-in to checkout. The room was comfortable, including the beds and pillows. The hotel clerk accommodated our request to switch from a king room to a room with 2 queen beds, and also our request for a late checkout. There was a cafe area in the lobby for breakfast or snacks.2016-04-24"
"I was impressed with the condition and layout of the hotel. The staff was friendly. Definitely stay here.2016-04-12"

"I had a great hotel stay and slept well.2020-05-19"
"The hotel room was nice, and the bathroom was well-stocked. My only complaint was that one of the pillows smelled dirty. Breakfast was good.2019-05-13"
"The property was well-maintained. The room was nicely decorated, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small. Pleasant hotel staff and pool. Amazing dinner at the restaurant.2021-08-15"
"Good hotel.2018-12-06"
"The hotel was quite nice, and the heated pool was pleasant. Super restaurant with good service, but the regular menu items were only available until 10 PM.2016-05-11"
"Pulling into the valet parking area was terrible; it was confusing and congested, and I had to wait 20 minutes to get to the door. The desk chair in the room needed to be replaced. No information in the room about amenities or nearby activities. Limited selection at the restaurant, and breakfast ended at 11 AM even on weekends. There are better hotels in the area.2018-05-21"
"Close to the convention center. Great hotel stay. I arrived early, and the staff was able to check me in. Everyone was helpful.2016-10-12"
"Perfect location; I was able to get around the city easily by walking. I loved my room. It was comfortable and quiet, and the staff was helpful and nice. Great room service food, and it arrived quickly. Good value; I recommend this hotel.2016-03-11"
"Excellent location if you're visiting area colleges and universities. The beds were smaller than we expected. Dinner at Shula's restaurant was great. Decent hotel.2015-06-08"
"The hotel was clean but basic. No on-site dining or room service, and I had to pay for parking. Even the coffee wasn't free. Short walk to restaurants.2021-12-20"
"Nice hotel and room.2018-02-01"
"Good hotel stay. Needed more food options and a better Starbucks, though.2016-07-06"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
