"We were pleased with our experience. Stay at this hotel.2015-08-03"
"We were pleased with our room. It was quiet and had everything we needed. The ice machine was far from our room and hard to find. Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Go for it.2015-08-01"
"Clean hotel, but the service was terrible. I waited 11 minutes for a clerk to come to the front desk so I could check in. A large group of people had a party and walked through the lobby in their swimsuits, dripping water all over. There was a BBQ going on in the parking lot. I took a burned out lightbulb to the front desk to get a replacement, and again had a long wait before someone came to assist me. I went down later to get a bottle of water, but no one was at the desk to take my money. I wouldn't stay here again.2015-07-03"
"The room door had to be slammed shut before the lock would turn, and the safe didn't work. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, but the breakfast buffet wasn't good, and I didn't like the flimsy plastic utensils. Stay somewhere else.2016-05-20"
"The staff was extra nice and had smiles on their faces. Excellent breakfast. Stay at this hotel.2015-09-25"
"The hotel was OK, but attention to detail was lacking considering the price. One of the lightbulbs in the room was burned out; the front desk clerk said it would be fixed immediately, but when we checked out 2 days later, it still wasn't fixed.2021-05-12"
"The hotel was comfortable, and I enjoyed the central air. No elevators. Stay here.2016-08-08"
"The motel wasn't that clean, and the carpeting needed to be replaced. I had to ask for fresh bedsheets and towels, and the bathroom wasn't well-cleaned. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful.2017-08-21"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
