"The hotel room needed some updates. The pillows were old. The coffee pot didn't work, so it was replaced. The shower curtain had duct tape on one side. Considering the price, I was disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, but did a lot of smoking by the front entrance. Pay more and stay somewhere else.2016-06-28"
"A little on the pricey side. The room was made up nicely every day and had a fridge but no freezer. The motel staff was friendly. Limited choices at the restaurant for people with food allergies. The coffee wasn't good, and I couldn't order prosecco by the glass. Other than that, the hotel was OK.2021-09-01"
"Modern room, and the hotel staff was accommodating about changes in our schedule. Great place to stay. The entrance to Yellowstone was about 50 miles away.2015-09-24"
"We could hear people in the room above ours. The hotel lobby smelled a bit musty, and the front desk clerks weren't that cordial. The water for tea in the morning was cold. 2021-11-01"
"The hotel was convenient to Buffalo Bill Center of the West. The staff treated us well. Good place to stay.2019-08-20"
"The hotel was fine, and the beds were comfortable. The emphasis on eco-friendly policies was well thought out but not overbearing.2019-08-02"
"The motel was clean and pet friendly, and the front desk clerk was super friendly. Easy access with a lot of parking. I loved the pet area in back. I'll stay here again.2021-03-17"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
