"I had a phenomenal experience. The hotel felt like a home away from home.2017-08-23"
"I had an awful stay. Find another hotel.2017-07-25"
"The hotel was clean, and the employees were extremely helpful and friendly. Appreciated the dog treat at check-in, but I wasn't impressed with the dog walking area. It was small, uneven, and the grass was prickly and full of weeds. Otherwise, this was a good choice.2015-08-10"
"I stayed during a busy weekend, and the hotel staff seemed unable to manage a full house. The fridge in my room was broken; I complained to the front desk, but maintenance never checked it as promised. The breakfast room was overcrowded and didn't have enough seating. Poor selection of food. Pick another place to stay.2016-07-19"
"The hotel needed maintenance. The bathroom fixtures were loose and hard to use, and there were cracks in the sink and bathtub. Friendly enough service. Great coffee available 24 hours a day. Not enough handicap parking spaces by the door; if you're severely handicapped, pass on this hotel.2015-09-19"
"Large hotel room, and the AC worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful.2015-08-27"
"The hotel was close to the freeway. The room was dark and always smelled like smoke. There was broken glass in several places, and a fake eyelash on the bathroom floor. Not enough pillows, and they were flat. Great fridge and microwave, but I had to hold the microwave when I opened the door so it wouldn't fall. The toilet wasn't properly bolted to the floor. Don't stay here.2021-05-04"
"I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and had a nice experience.2016-08-02"
"The hotel accommodated our 2 dogs. We were given a 1st floor room right next to a door leading to a large grassy area. The room was clean and quiet.2016-07-15"
"Access to the hotel was difficult. The east end of the building was extremely noisy; we heard traffic, trains, and the toilet was running. We only got about 4 hours of sleep. The TV didn't work even after someone came to fix it. Don't stay here.2022-08-01"
"A fantastic experience. The hotel clerk and manager accommodated my request for an early check-in, and I was in my room within minutes. The clerk was personable and took an interest in my visit. The next morning, she asked about my concert the night before and engaged me in conversation. Good complimentary breakfast with a huge selection. I'd stay here again without hesitation.2018-04-26"
"Clean room. The grounds were well-maintained, and new furniture was being delivered as we checked out. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. No breakfast selections that met my dietary requirements. Nice stay overall.2016-04-24"
"We appreciated the Covid precautions at this hotel. The attention to cleanliness and detail was reassuring. The room was attractive and comfortably appointed, and the beds were comfortable. The reception and breakfast personnel were welcoming and friendly. Enjoy your stay.2020-10-05"
"A well-run hotel. We stayed with our 5 grandchildren. The staff was helpful and got us an extra bed. The warm pool was awesome for the kids. Great breakfast.2017-12-21"

"Great hotel for families with pets. The room was nice, clean, and efficiently laid out.2019-12-19"
"I was traveling alone and felt safe at this hotel. The room was clean and well laid out.2018-08-21"
"A little hard to find, but worth the effort. The hotel was quiet, even on a Friday night. I liked the room layout and the shower, and I slept well. The curtains didn't close all the way, though.2018-07-27"
"The hotel was located near the national forest. Clean, spacious room and nice personnel.2018-09-21"
"Good experience overall. The room was clean, and the coffee was good. The TV was too low, which was annoying, and there were no premium channels. OK breakfast, and the evening soup was a nice touch. I recommend this hotel, especially if you're traveling with a dog.2017-10-17"
"The hotel clerk was great and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable.2016-09-26"
"Our hotel room smelled like smoke and a spray that didn't cover it up. The window didn't open much, so we couldn't air the room out. We won't be back.2016-09-06"
"The hotel room was clean and well laid out, and the staff cared about guest comfort. Enjoy staying here.2016-07-27"
"The hotel room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was accommodating and helpful. I'm short and somewhat disabled and had trouble getting in and out of bed, so I was given a foot stool. Breakfast was fantastic.2018-09-24"
"Great location. The hotel was affordable and extremely clean. The staff was cheerful and helpful.2018-06-18"
"The room was clean, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Good complimentary breakfast, and the attendants kept the food stocked. I did hear a bit of truck noise.2018-07-06"
"Clean, comfortable hotel in a convenient location. No elevator, though.2018-03-28"
"Close to the outlets. The hotel room smelled bad. It was too warm and the heater was loud, so we turned it off at night. No toiletries provided; we had to ask the front desk clerk for soap and shampoo. We probably won't stay here again.2016-12-01"

"The hotel clerk saw how much luggage we had and kindly asked if we'd like a 1st floor room, which we appreciated. The housekeeper was efficient, and breakfast was good and well-tended.2017-08-07"
"Our hotel room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I loved the thick comforter. No elevator. Good place to lay a weary head.2017-04-11"
"If you just need a place to sleep, then this is the place for you. There was a homeless man sleeping outside, and the hotel clerks weren't overly friendly.2015-11-24"
"This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. It was clean and quiet, and breakfast was delivered to my room.2023-02-08"
"I had a great experience at this hotel. The room suited my needs, and the staff was accommodating. Breakfast could've been better.2022-04-12"
"I had a positive experience. The hotel was pretty quiet given the location. Excellent restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. I liked the room service breakfast. There was some construction underway, but it wasn't a major factor. Ask for a room with a view of the marina, and eat at Anthony's Seafood Restaurant at the end of the pier.2019-07-20"
"I was unimpressed with this hotel. It wasn't in a good part of town, and it didn't feel clean or safe. We decided not to day and don't recommend it.2021-07-20"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
