"An amazing hotel for the price. The room was clean, and we were able to get a cot for an extra $15 per night. The beds were full-sized, not queens. The bathroom was really clean and spacious. The front desk clerk was warm and welcoming, and our kids had so much fun in the activity room and indoor pool. Great food at the complimentary breakfast. We'll definitely stay here again.2020-01-14"
"The hotel was unremarkable. The TV remote control didn't work, and neither did the next 3 or 4 we got from the hotel clerk. We finally got a new one that worked. Nothing special about this place.2017-12-23"
"Very nice-looking hotel room. The pillow had a makeup stain, but it was quickly changed.2016-05-03"

"There were stairs at the hotel entry, which was an issue for us. The room looked tired. The bed was quite low and soft, and the linens needed updating. The bathroom in our handicap room looked recently renovated. The front desk clerks were pleasant and welcoming. There were home-made cookies in the afternoon, and soda, coffee, and flavored water were always available. The full breakfast bar was an unexpected surprise.2019-01-22"

"It could be a little tricky getting from the hotel back on the main thoroughfare. Breakfast was quite good.2018-12-26"

"Convenient to the airport, and the free shuttle was a bonus. The hotel staff was pleasant, especially the early morning clerk when my flight was cancelled. He was helpful with getting me booked on Amtrak.2021-08-24"
"OK hotel, but because of Covid, the pool was closed and there was no breakfast.2020-08-16"
"The hotel was convenient to the airport, restaurants, and grocery stores. I appreciated having a pet room. Breakfast was nice.2019-10-17"
"Considering the high price, the hotel room was small; we felt like we were in a basement. The room was clean, but not aesthetically appealing. Don't stay here.2022-09-01"
"The room was simple, and breakfast was average, but the hotel staff was fantastic; they were friendly and eager to help.2021-02-24"
"The room was small but clean. The mattress was moderately comfortable, but the pillows were great. I did hear planes flying overhead at night. The hotel staff was friendly, and breakfast was decent. Didn't like the instant coffee, but there was better coffee in the lobby. We enjoyed milk and cookies in the lobby in the evening.2019-05-24"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
