"I've stayed at this hotel many times over the last 15 years. The employees are different every visit, and the vending machines have never worked. The carpeting is ancient and dirty, and the room furniture is in poor condition. The toilet in my room didn't flush well, and the tank cover was a weird plastic thing. The bathtub wasn't clean. No breakfast because of Covid. If you're a construction worker looking for a cheap room, this place is OK, but I'd never bring a woman here.2020-11-30"
"Good rates. The hotel was clean, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Nice place to stay.2015-08-13"
"I've stayed here many times since 2005, but I'll never stay again. Not worth the price. Hotel interior was dingy, and the furniture was broken. The hallway smelled bad, and the carpet was worn. The ice machine hasn't worked for years. Continental breakfast wasn't good.2015-03-16"
"Good rates for a holiday weekend. The hotel room was warm, even after we left the AC running. The front desk clerk said maintenance would look at it, but the room was still warm when we returned. We asked for a room change and the staff was happy to accommodate us.2017-11-28"
"An excellent hotel experience. Good choice.2017-04-29"
"The bed was comfortable; I slept really well. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.2015-12-04"
"A wonderful vacation spot. The hotel was beautifully maintained, and the staff was friendly. Well-groomed walking trails and delicious meals made this place perfect. An amazing find.2015-10-10"
"We had a comfortable stay, but the motel seemed overpriced.2019-10-16"
"Nice, clean room and good service. Don't hesitate to stay at this hotel.2019-06-11"
"OK motel for the price. The room was fine, but the key was deactivated prior to checkout. The pool water was cloudy. Skimpy breakfast with small omelets, sweet rolls, and a few apples.2015-11-11"
"The hotel was somewhat run-down. The room had an odor, and the carpets were worn. The bed was comfortable, though, and the staff was excellent. Good place for the price if you just need a place to rest.2021-06-02"
"Clean room and friendly, helpful hotel staff.2018-11-06"
"Good hotel overall. The AC was noisy and stuck on the high setting, so we had to keep adjusting the temperature. The front desk clerk was cheery, friendly, and helpful with restaurant information. The waffles at breakfast were too thin.2018-06-27"
"The hotel didn't have anyone to help with luggage. No hot water for showers. Our room was never serviced during our stay, and we never got fresh towels or extra toilet paper. We made the bed each day ourselves. Not happy that we didn't get a room with a view. The staff was nice.2023-10-11"
"The hotel was clean, and breakfast was great. Not a lot of restaurants nearby; you'll need to go back to Exit 229 to find one.2021-08-12"
"The room was OK, but the bathroom and bathtub were small. No ice machine on our floor. Breakfast was great. Considering the price, I was disappointed with this hotel.2018-10-22"
"The hotel was nice, clean, and well-run. The bottom of the bathtub was curved, making showering awkward. The towels felt like sandpaper, and the elevator was slow. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet.2019-02-18"
"Nice hotel with courteous employees. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were good. Breakfast was wonderful.2017-01-04"
"A very nice hotel, but the elevator was slow.2015-08-14"

"The hotel needed better soundproofing. It cost extra to rent the kitchen package; the room didn't even have a glass or a spoon. Basically no breakfast, but the coffee was good.2019-04-04"
"Great rates. The hotel staff was friendly.2016-02-15"
"The hotel fire alarms went off all night. I was given a $75 credit on the bill for the inconvenience.2022-10-11"
"The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable. Good service.2017-01-24"
"The hotel layout meant I had to go outside to get to my room from the lobby. The food at the bistro was awful; breakfast was inedible and overpriced. Don't stay here.2016-12-13"

"The hotel was run-down and overpriced. The room carpet was dirty and buckled. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken and lying on the floor. There was only 1 washcloth for 2 people. The hallway reeked of marijuana. The front desk clerk was always outside smoking. Breakfast was old apples and stale bagels. Don't stay here.2023-10-17"
"The hotel room was great, but we were disappointed with the breakfast. There was no hot food, and the juice machine wasn't working. I was able to get some cranberry juice, but it wasn't cold and the ice machine was on the 2nd floor.2022-04-27"
"The hotel was fine for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. No fridge or microwave in the room, though.2021-05-04"
"The motel needed some upgrades, and there was a lot of trash around the exterior and parking lot. The bed was comfortable., but this place wasn't clean enough for the family.2023-12-22"
"The motel room had been refurbished and was clean. Comfortable beds with nice linens. We had a good stay.2023-08-23"
"The room was nice, but the motel was old. No microwave or fridge. The front desk clerk was pleasant. OK for an overnight stay only.2021-11-23"
"The motel wasn't fancy, but the room was clean and comfortable. We were satisfied with our stay.2023-12-21"
"The room was remodeled. The motel clerk was friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was good. A security guard patrolled the property when I stayed during the Balloon Festival.2022-10-04"
"Easy to access from the freeway, and close to several restaurants. The motel was clean and comfortable. More variety at breakfast would've been nice, and stronger coffee. Good place to stay.2021-11-17"
"An excellent facility. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we woke up refreshed. The shower needed no-slip mats, but that was the only issue. The hotel staff was so genuinely friendly and helpful; I've never been treated so well. Great place to stay.2023-10-04"
"The hotel was new, shiny, and bright. Construction was no impediment to having a good stay. The room was large, and the Keurig coffee maker was a nice touch. The TV remote control didn't work; a staff member got everything else working. The fitted bedsheet was too small. It took a long time for the shower water to get hot. The shower water ran onto the floor. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful and pleasant. The $12 breakfast buffet was overpriced. Stay somewhere else.2022-08-28"
"Great hotel, but there was no continental breakfast. Denny's and Cracker Barrel were next door, though. I was lost, but called the front desk clerk and got directions.2017-03-31"
I’ve been using HotelGuides for over 8 years. The agents are very helpful, and they try to accommodate every request. I like that when they email a booking confirmation to you, they include the hotel's address as well as its interstate exit number.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
