"Good experience. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and quiet, and I appreciated being able to have my dog with me. The staff helped me find food on New Year's Eve. 2018-01-06"
"The hotel was nice. Great, clean room. I enjoyed the view from the restaurant, and the food was good, too. I'd stay here again and recommend it.2021-01-11"

"We enjoyed our stay; it was comfortable and uneventful, and the rates were good. We were disappointed that we didn't get a 1st floor room as requested since the motel didn't have an elevator. The restaurant was good. 2017-09-18"

"This hotel was dirty. There were water stains on the ceiling, and the hallway smelled musty. Breakfast was terrible. We'll never go back, and don't recommend staying here.2015-08-17"
"The room was comfortable, but housekeeping seemed understaffed and there wasn't enough coffee for the rooms. The hotel staff bent over backwards to help, but were restricted by what was available to them. The restaurant accommodated my dietary restrictions.2016-06-25"
"The hotel room was clean but substandard. The grab bar in the bathtub wasn't attached, so we put it on the counter to prevent someone from being injured.2015-11-27"
"I loved my overnight stay. Everything was perfect, and the hotel clerk was helpful and greeted me with a smile. You'll be comfortable here.2017-08-20"
"Don't let the shabby exterior deter you. The interior looked more luxurious. Everything worked except the elevator the morning I checked out. Wonderful full breakfast.2015-08-27"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
