"Nice motel room. Appreciated the in-room coffee and good breakfast with fresh fruit. An enjoyable stay.2016-08-25"
"Clean room with comfortable beds. It was great to have a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The staff was friendly and helpful. Extremely nice breakfast with lots of healthy choices. We also liked that the hotel didn't use disposable dishes.2015-08-07"
"The hotel room was clean enough, but the TV wasn't high enough to comfortably watch from bed. The morning clerk was friendly. The continental breakfast was meager. Good enough for a short stay.2016-09-25"

"The hotel was comfortable, and the mattresses were new. All our expectations were met. We had 2 rooms and were happy that they were across the hall from each other. Easy check-in and great service. The staff was accommodating and willing to assist. Our group of 6 greatly appreciated our stay.2018-11-08"
"The hotel was quiet and centrally located. Good beds and friendly employees. The breakfast area was packed with maskless diners, so we didn't feel safe from Covid.2021-03-08"
"The hotel was filthy, and I woke up with bug bites. Breakfast was skimpy at best. Don't stay here.2017-05-09"
"Good hotel, but the sink area was small.2015-08-11"
"The hotel room was clean, and everything worked. Had a coffee pot, TV, iron, and toiletries. The upholstered chairs needed cleaning, but overall, it was fine. I was able to check in early. Good breakfast, but items ran out by 9:30 AM and weren't replenished.2015-07-29"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
