"Close to MTS Centre. This hotel was grungy and dirty. The wireless Internet didn't work. There was only one electrical outlet, and most lightbulbs were burned out. The bathroom floor was sticky. The hallway carpet was wet and musty, and smelled like mold. The elevator was so shaky it made me nervous. When we took the stairs, the doors were so poorly posted that we got stuck in a boiler room until an employee led us through the back way into the lobby. The kind employees were the one bright spot at this hotel. We ended up sleeping with our clothes on, and left early in the morning. What a disappointment.2015-08-01"

To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
