"The hotel was pet-friendly. Consider staying here.2016-10-06"
"Close to restaurants. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was totally satisfied with my hotel stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.2015-04-08"
"We were pleased with the size of the room, but it wasn't as clean as we'd have liked. No fridge. We had an ice bucket, but the ice machine and vending machines didn't work. We only got 2 towels for 4 people, and never got extras despite asking for some. The people in the next room were loud until 2 AM. The hotel staff was friendly enough. Good breakfast, and it was nice to have fresh fruit. Don't have high expectations.2021-09-28"
"The hotel grounds needed attention. No fridge in the room, and the phone had to be replaced. The carpet looked good. No AC in the lobby, just an industrial fan.2021-09-11"

"We stayed during a busy time, and the hotel was full of kids, including the pool and whirlpool; both were right in the front lobby, so there was no privacy. The room was clean, and the staff got to know us and made us feel welcome. Good food.2016-06-30"
"The cleanliness was deplorable at best. The doormat was dirty and poorly positioned. The staff appearance was unkempt, too, and they weren't friendly. Don't stay at this hotel.2016-04-21"
"Hotel wasn't well-marked, so I had trouble finding it. Room and bathroom needed better lighting. The light by the desk went off by itself after 10 minutes. The bathroom fan was noisy. Look elsewhere.2015-02-03"

"My room was clean, updated, and spacious. Dishes and cookware were available, probably for a fee. Clean, modern lobby. The front desk clerks were friendly and professional. There was a grab and go breakfast, but it was minimal. Be prepared to bring your own food or eat out. Good hotel for a long-term stay.2016-11-03"
"OK hotel for an overnight stay. Needed more choices at breakfast, and the only cream for coffee was flavored.2015-09-17"
"The hotel needed a total overhaul. The room wasn't clean. The floor was dirty, there was hair in the bed, and there were spider webs in all the corners. The AC air had an odor. The ice bucket was dirty and had no lid. The bathroom floor was dirty, and there was mildew in the shower. Don't stay here.2022-09-22"
"I had a perfect hotel stay. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the TVs were large. The employees were courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to stay here.2018-10-13"
"Nice location with easy access to I-65. The room was comfortable and clean, and the entire hotel staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. They graciously allowed us to check in early, which was helpful. I'd stay here again.2018-09-20"
HotelGuides made it easy to choose a hotel based on how far we wanted to get that day. Also liked being able to see the interstate interchange on the map to determine how far off the highway each hotel was.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
