"The hotel was quite kid-oriented; our granddaughter had a wonderful time. The beds needed to be replaced, and a little dog in the next room barked until around midnight, so it was hard to sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hot breakfast was decent. Great indoor water park.2018-06-12"
"The mattresses sagged, but I liked everything else about the hotel.2016-08-24"
"Really great hotel stay. All the employees were helpful.2016-08-01"
"Perfect for families going to Silverwood Amusement Park. Nice price. The motel room was extremely clean, and all the employees wore masks. I needed a lot of help with the guest computer, and the front desk clerks worked with me for quite a while in between receiving guests.2020-07-04"
"The hotel room was comfortable and clean, and I had a great courtyard view and access to the pool through the sliding glass door. Fun pool, whirlpool, and corn hole.2020-08-01"
"The hotel didn't have up-to-date technology. There were no outlets to plug in cell phones. The bed was hard, and there were no drinking glasses. No coffee, either. I expected better for the price.2021-04-04"
"The hotel staff was really nice.2020-08-27"
"Nice area with easy access to the freeway and downtown. Seemed a little overpriced. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well-kept, but both the room and hotel were dated. The staff was helpful and readily available. Easy check-in. Basic continental breakfast provided.2020-07-04"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
