"Good value. The room was clean and well-kept, and the hotel staff was friendly. Adequate breakfast, but the hot selections tended to be lukewarm. Stay here.2015-11-24"
"The hotel room was quiet, and all the employees were friendly to my cat and me. I ate in the bar, and the food was good, timely, and hot. I'd stay here again.2016-09-22"
"Centrally located. Lovely hotel with great views. I could've done without the housekeeper walking in on me. Good food. You should probably stay here. I wish I'd been able to stay longer.2015-09-16"

"Good location. An average, updated but older hotel, but it had above-average views, patios, amenities, and friendly employees. I enjoyed my beach side room and the outdoor gazebo. Bring binoculars to watch the geese.2017-08-24"
"Handy location for family activities. There was a fun park next door, and a huge public park just minutes away with a large water park and ocean boardwalk. We had a beautiful room with a balcony right by the ocean. It was awesome and so relaxing. The hotel clerks were polite and helpful and had great senses of humor. We asked for a fridge and got one in less than an hour, and there was no problem with our dog. The indoor pool and whirlpool were closed for cleaning during our stay, which disappointed our granddaughter. We were able to have our dog with us at the restaurant as long as we sat at a table by the grass.2017-08-14"

"The hotel room was clean, and the housekeeper was thorough. Our room was next to the highway, though, and it was too noisy to open the window. Excellent service and helpful employees. The continental breakfast was far more than I expected and had many choices. The restaurant only served breakfast.2016-09-18"
I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
