"This hotel met our needs. It was nice and clean, and we enjoyed the amenities. The only downside was that there was no working exhaust fan in the bathroom. Simple check-in. The pool had a slide, and the the pool area was clean and had a whirlpool, shower, and steam room. Friendly staff and hot breakfast with lots of selections.2019-06-16"
"Nice hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was excellent. Don't hesitate to book here.2018-12-22"
"Everything was great. The hotel was lovely. The room was big and clean, and the staff was super. We were pleased.2017-10-21"
"The hotel room was clean, and our room was quite warm. Friendly, helpful personnel and great breakfast.2017-10-29"
"The hotel was old and outdated. The room wasn't really attractive, and the carpet was awful. The bathroom was the worst. Short toilet, old, small bathtub, and really icky. There was garbage all over the grounds, and ashtrays were overflowing. It was most unattractive. Exceptional staff, though.2015-04-07"
"The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but because of Covid, there was no housekeeping. The pool and whirlpool weren't available. Prices at Fatburger were too high, but Tap 25 was the best.2020-09-17"

"Convenient to the West Edmonton Mall and River Cree Casino. There were many stores and restaurants in the area. The hotel room was nice and well-appointed.2019-09-16"
"Nice hotel, and our pet was treated well. We were disappointed by the room size considering the price, however. Great for kids because of the waterslide.2015-06-10"
"Close to West Edmonton Mall. This hotel was above average and a good value. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly. Good continental breakfast. We'll stay here again.2016-05-26"

"A good, clean hotel. The beds were comfortable, but there was no information about how to call for room service. The front desk clerk wasn't that helpful. 2016-05-26"

"The hotel wasn't fancy, but the room was comfortable and quiet. Good bed and tasty breakfast. Go for it.2018-06-29"
"Close to West Edmonton Mall. The hotel room was barely clean, and the wastebasket was full from the previous guest. The beds had no support, and shook with any movement. The AC was so noisy. No one at the front desk cared about anything. There was only one elevator, and it was slow. Stay somewhere else.2015-09-30"
I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
