"The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. No coffee in the room, but there was some in the breakfast room. Easy parking and easy access to rooms. I'd certainly stay here again.2018-08-21"
"Nice location. Not a bad hotel. The room was clean.2016-09-20"
"A positive experience. The motel room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk clerk was especially friendly and helpful. She was a pleasure to interact with. Just do it; even the town is nice.2016-06-14"
"Good location for visiting north and central New Jersey. The room was better than I expected at this price point. Easy check-in. Breakfast was convenient and acceptable. Come for the location, the nice room, and the reasonable price, but don't expect much more.2022-06-14"

"The hotel was clean, and the staff was extremely pleasant. My room had a broken closet door, so I was given another room. I was disappointed that the pool and whirlpool were out of service and the printer was broken. 2017-08-23"
"The hotel room was clean, but some modernization would be helpful. The elevator was dated. The staff was helpful and cordial. I had a pleasant stay.2019-09-02"
"The staff was extremely helpful, sympathetic, and accommodating. The hotel had good amenities.2018-09-23"
"Nice, clean room and attentive staff. The food situation was a disappointment. The hotel was in an isolated area, and the on-site restaurant had limited hours and was out of some menu items. Starbucks had limited hours and food. No snack options. 2023-04-24"
"I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was nice, and the employees were competent and helpful.2017-07-08"
"From check-in to checkout, my hotel stay was lovely. The room was clean and well-appointed, and I liked the Toto toilet with its many functions. Room service delivered tasty food. The staff was efficient, and there was no charge for my dog. Absolutely stay here.2016-09-01"
"The suite was nice, but it was too close to the noisy elevator. Rowdy teens were loud and kept me from using the whirlpool. Other than that, this hotel was nice.2017-12-12"
"Great rates, clean rooms, and comfortable surroundings. The hotel clerks were always helpful. We had a wonderful weekend.2015-10-29"

"I had trouble getting on the bed because it was so high. There was no table in the room for dining, and nowhere for room service to put my food. I was told the shuttle service had been discontinued, but there was a shuttle bus parked in front. Don't stay here.2019-06-23"
"Close to Rutgers. Great room. Good restaurant with excellent service. Stay here.2019-05-19"
"The room was clean, though the bathroom was a little dated. The staff was friendly. Great stay overall.2018-10-11"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
