"The motel room was clean, but I could smell smoke from other rooms. The staff was friendly.2022-10-10"
"Convenient to I-95. The motel clerks were pleasant.2019-05-15"
"Good value. The motel was clean and allowed pets. The bathroom fan was loud, but otherwise the room was perfect for our needs. We had to wait briefly for the front desk clerk. Nice continental breakfast.2016-04-05"
"The room was clean, and the hotel clerk was helpful. I appreciated that the towels were replaced. The hallway smelled like smoke, but the room didn't, though there were burn holes in the duvet and on the carpet. The carpet needed cleaning. There was a Burger King next to the hotel, so I heard some noise.2020-12-13"
"We didn't get a 1st floor room as requested. The floor in our room was dirty, and half the lights didn't work. The TV screen was cracked. There was no cold water in the sink, and the toilet leaked. The dog poop container was overflowing, and not everyone cleaned up after their dogs. Not a great motel stay; we won't return.2020-07-02"
"Good experience and a good value. The motel was simple, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I don't have a bad thing to say. This was our 2nd stay.2017-08-05"
"Truckers stay at this motel, so I could hear generator noise for the refrigerated trucks. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Ask for a room facing Beard's Hill Road.2016-04-17"
"Not a clean, comfortable, or safe environment. Kids were running wild, and parents were loud and drinking beer. The hotel pool was filthy, and the water was murky.2021-07-18"
"Good hotel, but my room smelled like cheap cologne, and the linens were dirty. There was food from the previous guest in the fridge. To say I was shocked would be an understatement.2015-11-25"
"This was a very nice, pet-friendly hotel, and the room was clean and nicely laid out. The bathroom was a bit small, and the door almost hit the toilet. Lots of amenities, including a pool, gym, and guest computer. Nice restaurants nearby, and some delivered food. The continental breakfast had a variety of selections, and the coffee was good. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.2015-08-17"
"My stay was awful. The hotel clerk was rude and acted like she was doing us a favor. The beds were uncomfortable, and kids ran around in the lobby and hallway all night. Terrible water pressure. Our request for a late checkout was refused. The only good thing was the great breakfast and nice attendants. Not a good value. Stay away from this one.2021-10-12"
"This motel was substandard. It ws dated and run-down. The blanket had cigarette burns; thankfully, the bedsheets looked clean. The AC was loud. The baseboards in the bathroom and vanity were dirty. I don't recommend staying here.2021-07-30"
"The hotel was clean. Needed better towels. I wish the motel clerk had told me that she wrote the wireless Internet information on the room key. I enjoyed being close to restaurants and stores. Good place to stay.2017-03-15"
"Close to restaurants, stores, and gas stations. Great rates. The motel room was clean and had everything I needed. Nice, helpful personnel. I felt at home and will stay here again.2017-01-29"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
