"A mediocre hotel. I asked for a quiet room, but I was put at the end of the building by the entrance, so I heard slamming doors my entire stay. The lampshade was torn, the bed was hard as a rock, the fridge never got cold, and I found a bug in the bed in the morning. The day clerk seemed nice, but the night clerk was watching something on her phone the entire time I talked to her, and she seemed unconcerned about the bug.2019-09-25"
"Really reasonable rates. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The desk chair was too big and didn't fit under the desk. Good little breakfast assortment. The elevator was handy.2015-12-30"
"Inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. The accommodations at this hotel were lacking. The room was run-down and cramped, and had poor soundproofing. Needed cleaning and updating. The smells from breakfast permeated my room.2015-05-18"
"The hotel looked new and clean, but the front desk clerks had their noses in their computers and didn't even acknowledge me when I arrived. The room was small, and there was only one trash can and not enough electrical outlets. The WiFi kept cutting out, and the clerk said there was no one there to help. Breakfast was all carbs.2019-07-04"
"The AC filter was filthy. The hotel staff provided great service.2017-04-12"

"The motel was barely adequate for one night. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, and the carpet had burn marks. There were signs of neglect everywhere; the lampshades were broken, the paint was peeling, and the grout was stained. At least the bed was decent and the sheets were clean. The TV and remote control worked. You get what you pay for.2021-10-29"
"The housekeeper didn't do anything but remove the dirty towels. The trash cans were overflowing, the toilet wasn't cleaned, and no fresh towels were provided. I had to call the motel clerk and complain before my room was properly serviced.2019-10-09"
"There are nicer motels in the area. The bathroom floor could've been cleaner, and it felt damp.2017-07-16"
"The motel manager was rude and not at all customer-friendly. Don't stay here.2016-05-16"
"Convenient to the children's hospital, and the rates were reasonable. Clean motel, but the room carpet had a large stain. The bed was comfortable. I'd stay here again.2016-03-12"
"Great motel for the price. The room was clean and quiet.2016-01-01"
"This was by far the noisiest motel I've ever stayed in. The noise from I-35 was so loud that it sounded like we had a window open. We could also hear people upstairs walking around, flushing the toilet, and moving furniture around, as well as the neighbor's TV all night. We also heard trains and train horns. The mattress was in poor condition, and the TV was awkward to watch from bed. The desk chair looked like it had been retrieved from a dumpster. No coffee in the room; I had to ask for one at the front desk. Don't stay here.2023-02-27"
"The room badly needed an upgrade. It had a chemical smell, and the carpet and furnishings were old and worn. The TV leaned to one side. Train noise ruined any chance of sleeping through the night. The motel clerk was professional. Don't stay here.2015-10-30"
"OK motel and staff. The room needed better soundproofing; I could hear conversations in the next room, and the traffic noise was horrible. Stay somewhere else.2015-10-27"
"Not terrible, but there are better options. The bathtub and sink didn't drain properly, so I was standing in about 8 inches of water in the shower. The floor near the elevator wasn't level because the tiling wasn't completed. The front desk clerk was curt when I asked about breakfast; only coffee and muffins were provided. Find another hotel.2020-10-20"
"Our key cards didn't work, and we got locked out. The hotel room wasn't clean at all, and there weren't enough towels for 2 people. The breakfast area was closed for remodeling, and there was no breakfast available. We could hear loud remodeling work when we were in our room. Stay somewhere else.2020-04-21"
"The hotel was clean. Great room and staff. I had a wonderful stay.2018-02-14"

"The hotel room was nice and clean, but there was no easy chair. Check-in was difficult.2023-01-26"
"The hotel charged a $100 deposit. The building was cheaply constructed; I heard banging doors and heavy footsteps late into the night and early in the morning. My room was just a room and a bathroom, not a suite. The bed blanket was scratchy. 2022-03-13"
"OK hotel other than the noisy people above my room. Overall, my stay was fine.2015-04-21"
"The hotel was set up for extended stays. The room was clean, and the decor and furnishings were current. Nice mattresses. The staff was friendly.2020-03-17"
"Excellent service, and the staff provided a great restaurant recommendation. I highly recommend this hotel.2020-12-07"
"The circular drive in front got congested. Fast check-in and nice lobby. There was hair on the sofa in our suite, and the sink didn't drain well. The hallways needed vacuuming, and the table and decorations by the elevators were covered in dust and fingerprints. The elevators were speedy. Don't expect the hotel to be especially clean.2018-11-01"
"We were disappointed. While the staff was responsive, the hotel has deteriorated since our last stay. The carpets were worn and frayed, the furniture was stained, and there seemed to be a lack of upkeep. We requested housekeeping service, but what we got was just fresh towels and the folding back of the comforter. No other housekeeping was done. The restaurant was just a small grill. We won't stay here again.2022-05-19"
"Everything about the hotel was great. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. Our bed wasn't made, but that was quickly taken care of. I'll definitely stay again and highly recommend it.2018-08-07"

HotelGuides makes it easy to find hotels that are pet friendly. I also like the ease of changing reservations and that I don’t have to pay in advance.
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
