"The hotel room had a terrible smell of cleaning chemicals; we had to sleep with the window open. The top bedsheet was dirty, and only a quarter roll of toilet paper was provided. Don't stay here.2020-01-02"
"Nice location and good rates. The hotel clerk was friendly; our microwave didn't work, and he was apologetic and let us use one by the office. The only negative was that our room was at the end of the hallway, and when people used the door nearby, it sounded like someone was trying to get in our room. We got used to it quickly, though, and would definitely stay here again.2019-05-26"
"Located on an I-70 service road, with a Shell gas station right down the road. The room was nothing special, but it was clean. The hotel clerks were extremely friendly and helpful. 2019-05-23"
"The room was clean and smelled nice, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The AC worked well, and we slept soundly. All the employees provided quality service and were kind to us and our small dogs. Breakfast was nourishing. Other hotels should aspire to be like this one.2018-08-19"

"Our hotel room was clean, and that's the most important thing to me. We had no problems.2016-07-25"
"Everything was clean. The handicap room was made more for walkers than for peole in wheelchairs. The sink was too high and had a deep bowl, which was awkward for me to use. The hotel staff was pleasant and willing to help. Breakfast had tasty and varied selections. The elevator had no directional markers or light and sound indicators when it arrived on a floor.2015-06-18"

"There was hair in the sink and shower, and used dental floss under the sink. The handrails were covered in a white, powdery substance. No liner in the garbage cans, and there was dust all over the headboard. I was dissatisfied with this hotel stay. 2015-11-03"
"One hotel clerk was excellent, but the other was condescending.2015-04-25"
"Clean room and a good morning meal. This hotel was a good choice.2015-02-09"
"From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The staff was exceptional, and helped us with every need we had. The hotel was well-kept and clean. I highly recommend it.2023-02-23"
"The hotel was dirty and dated, and the room carpeting was threadbare and stained. The room was stuffy. The bedskirts were old and dusty, and the bathroom floor had odd spots. The lobby was strange and uninviting. The front desk clerk wasn't helpful and had an attitude. Don't stay here.2020-12-07"
"I've never seen such a small bathroom before. Think twice about staying at this hotel.2015-12-15"

"A fine experience. The location was convenient, and the hotel and room were nice. I've stayed here before.2017-07-05"
"Close to the interstate. The hotel room was cold when I arrived, and the heater didn't work. Nice stay other than that. The lounge and lobby were attractive.2016-03-29"

"The motel was OK, but the room seemed to be under renovation. The flooring was new and the paint was fresh, but the molding was banged up. There was space for a fridge that wasn't there. No microwave or drawers. There was a hole in the bathroom for a heat light. Don't stay here until work is complete.2022-10-24"

"My stay was fine, but the hotel was pretty run-down.2023-06-30"
"This hotel was the worst. The room was falling apart, and the shower left more water on the floor than on the person showering; the staff did change the showerhead. No daily housekeeping service. No vending machines, and the ice machine and ATM were out of order. The staff was friendly, but I was disappointed. Stay somewhere else.2021-07-29"
"There are better hotels for the price. The room was small and smelled bad.2018-09-08"
"Low rates, and you get what you pay for. We heard a lot of noise from other guests, and we were told no other rooms were available. The bathroom sink didn't drain. We were able to change rooms the next day. Not a good family experience.2020-05-10"
"The room smelled like cigarette smoke. There was a dirty spoon in the kitchenette, and there was hair on the blankets and pillows. I wasn't satisfied with my hotel stay.2020-04-05"

"After seeing the hotel and room, I asked for a refund and left. Spend a few more dollars to stay someplace safe and secure.2020-03-07"
"Nice hotel. The room was large, and the staff treated us well. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it.2016-07-07"
"The hotel was clean and quiet enough, but there was no daily housekeeping service. Ask for anything you'll need at the front desk. It took 4 days to get a skillet, though I asked for one every day. 2015-10-19"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
