"This hotel is our must-stay when we're in town visiting family. Nice, clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was great.2017-10-09"
"Good location and easy to access. My room was clean and comfortable. The employees were helpful, friendly, and provided good suggestions for places to visit in the area. The stairs and hallways needed cleaning. The kids enjoyed the pool, and breakfast was good. I'd stay at this hotel again.2017-06-07"
"Not a good hotel. The hallway floor was sticky, and the staff wouldn't clean it. The room reeked of bleach; it took an hour to air it out with the window open. The ice machine was broken, and wet towels were left on the floor to soak up the dripping water. There were old tires dumped along the side of the front entrance, and junk cars in the parking lot. Find another place to stay.2017-06-02"
"The hotel was under construction, and it was a mess. Even the check-in clerk didn't mention it; we were just handed a key and walked through hallways full of plastic, fallen debris, and paint chips. Our room was OK, but the overall experience was disappointing.2015-11-08"

I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.

Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
