"Short walk to the Civic Auditorium. The room was nice, but it was small and sparse; no microwave, safe, or bottled water. The TV was too small. The hotel employees were kind and awesome.2022-12-13"
"The hotel was pricey but great. The staff was pleasant and attentive to my needs. Parking wasn't free.2019-05-15"
"The hotel was beautiful and quiet, and the bed was so comfortable. I was able to walk to the convention center. Take advantage of the shuttle service to nearby sights, and enjoy the Paseo across the street; there were good shops, restaurants, theaters, and entertainment.2018-08-10"
"The motel staff was rude, and a $100 deposit was required even though I've stayed there before.2021-03-26"
"Short walk to the Rose Parade and close enough to the Rose Bowl Stadium. The motel was clean. The towels were thin, and you might want to bring your own shampoo. The employees were friendly.2019-01-04"
"Easy access to stores and fast-food restaurants. The room was comfortable and pet-friendly, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I recommend this motel.2016-12-13"

"Excellent location within walking distance of the civic center. Well worth the price. The hotel was beautiful, elegant, and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. The TV didn't have a signal, though, so I wasn't able to use it during my stay.2019-04-16"

"The hotel was older, dirty, and smelled bad, and there were no employees to be found. Don't stay here.2019-01-04"
"We didn't get a 1st floor room as requested; our window was at the same level as the freeway, so the sound of traffic was constant. The drain ring in the bathtub was rusty. There were cigarette butts scattered around the hotel entrance. The grab and go breakfast was just that.2017-10-10"

"This place was a dump. Bed seemed small. Someone's clothes were in the plant area. Staff was friendly, caring, and as helpful as possible under the circumstances. Don't recommend.2015-01-19"
I’ve been using HotelGuides for over 8 years. The agents are very helpful, and they try to accommodate every request. I like that when they email a booking confirmation to you, they include the hotel's address as well as its interstate exit number.
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
