"Reasonably priced hotel with large, comfortable rooms and beautiful art work. The front desk clerk was professional and pleasant. Great breakfast. I enjoyed my stay.2016-02-17"
"The hotel was fine, but we were kept awake by the noisy people in the room upstairs. I called the front desk about it twice, but the noise continued. Stay on the 3rd floor.2016-02-17"
"The room was large, comfortable, and clean, and the hotel clerks were pleasant and helpful. Ask for a room on the 2nd floor so you don't hear kids jumping around upstairs.2016-02-16"
"There was no running water in my room because of a burst pipe in the parking structure; I wasn't informed of this at check-in. The water came on 4 hours later, but it was cold. When I returned from the gym the next day, the door wouldn't open and maintenance had to use force to open it. There was finally hot water. When I tried to leave, the door jammed again and I couldn't get out. Maintenance had to use force to get me out. On top of that, it sounded like furniture was being moved in the room above mine until 1 AM. Don't stay at this hotel.2016-02-20"
"My pet room was clean and odor-free. No towel bars or hooks, though, so there was nowhere to hang a wet towel. I'd stay here again.2020-09-24"
"Great experience. The hotel room was clean, nicely decorated, and dog friendly. Parking was free and easy, and brunch was great.2018-06-19"
"This is a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and quiet, and the front desk clerks were polite, helpful, and they accommodated our late arrival. Stay here.2016-11-22"

"Good stay overall. Close to our concert venue and all the services we needed. The room was clean and well-appointed, and all the employees were friendly and helpful. On the down side, the showerhead wasn't adjustable, and there was no on-site restaurant. 2015-09-01"

"I thought the hotel clerks were inadequate.2022-04-04"
"The hotel room was old and needed to be updated, but the employees were friendly. Nice, affordable place for an overnight stay.2019-10-09"
"An older hotel that didn't seem up to the usual Marriott quality. Good bed and breakfast. The toilet seat didn't fit the bowl, and the bathroom didn't seem clean. The staff seemed distracted and confused. The housekeeping closet was kept open, so I could see a pile of laundry. I wouldn't want to stay here more than one night.2017-12-29"

"The price was right. Didn't like the hotel decor. Comfortable room temperature. The room had a refrigerator, sink, and microwave, but didn't have dishes, flatware, or dish soap. The bed was comfortable, and the TV worked well and was easy to use. The complimentary breakfast layout was confusing, and the attendants could've been more helpful.2016-03-18"
"Close to lots of shopping. I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, and it was pet-friendly. Clean room and good customer service. No comforter on the bed. The carpet and the iron were dirty. Limited breakfast hours.2015-09-14"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
