"My pet room was clean and odor-free. No towel bars or hooks, though, so there was nowhere to hang a wet towel. I'd stay here again.2020-09-24"
"Great experience. The hotel room was clean, nicely decorated, and dog friendly. Parking was free and easy, and brunch was great.2018-06-19"
"This is a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and quiet, and the front desk clerks were polite, helpful, and they accommodated our late arrival. Stay here.2016-11-22"
"A clean, well-appointed, boutique hotel in a good location.2016-05-09"
"The hotel was quiet and clean, and the room was big. Better than a large, chain hotel, and the rates were more reasonable.2015-08-05"
"Convenient location and good rates. The hotel was quiet and clean. I had a restful stay and enjoyed the nice, full breakfast.2018-12-30"
"I really liked my room and the big mirror in the bathroom. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.2018-05-15"
"This was my 3rd stay. The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good bed with fresh linens. The employees were courteous. This is a good choice for a mid-scale, economical stay.2017-12-28"
"The hotel was quiet, and the room was clean. I did see 2 roaches in the morning. The sliding door didn't lock, and neither did the screen door. Pleasant, accommodating employees and adequate breakfast. My stay was fine.2017-11-04"
"I've stayed at this hotel 3 times, and it's always clean and inviting. The room was spacious, the bed was clean, and the employees were congenial and helpful. If you're looking for a pleasant stay and good value, this is a great choice.2016-12-28"

"A lovely little motel in a great location. The service was excellent.2021-09-05"
"Good location within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, and the beach. The motel grounds and pool area were well-kept. Where it fell short was the room and bathroom. The room was poorly lit, and the bathroom was tiny. The toilet rocked, the toilet paper holder were broken, and the shower was extremely small. The shower door hit the toilet, and the showerhead was too low. There were some broken tiles, too. I expected more for the price.2021-07-15"

"I love the look of this hotel, but it wasn't worth the price. There were several beer bottle caps around the room, and there were potato chips under the bed. Book a deluxe room in the older building for the vintage feel and tall ceilings.2020-11-11"
"Not a good value. I had to change rooms 3 times during my hotel stay.2016-06-07"
"We heard freeway noise, and the hotel van was parked right under our room, so we could hear it beeping every time it backed up. Ask for a room in the newer building.2015-10-18"
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
