"Close to restaurants and gas stations. The hotel room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk clerks weren't overly friendly and didn't like being asked questions. Masks were still worn. The elevator wasn't centrally located. No real breakfast. We'd stay here again.2021-06-21"
"The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and it was great having a stocked kitchen and being able to stay with our small dog. The clerks were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend staying here.2018-03-05"

"The room temperature wasn't consistent, even after someone came to fix the heater. Not enough towels provided; I asked for more and was told we'd get some, but we never did. There were no coffee stirrers in the room; when I went downstairs to get a cup of coffee, the clerk offered to sell me a cup since there were coffee makers in the room. Don't recommend this hotel.2015-03-31"
"I had a perfect stay. The hotel was clean and had lots of places to sit and relax. My room was clean, quiet, and cozy, and the staff was friendly. I loved being able to get tea any time I wanted, and breakfast was good. This is a fantastic place to stay.2018-11-20"
"Nice hotel, but our room wasn't cleaned during our 3-night stay even though we'd asked to have the bed made and needed fresh towels. When we returned from the hospital, we called about the problem, but housekeeping had gone home for the day. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and brought clean towels and linens. I had to change the bed myself. 2018-06-30"
"The refrigerator was noisy and kept me awake at night. The pool had too much chlorine in it. Other than that, my hotel stay was fine.2018-02-22"
"A 15-minute drive to downtown and most tourist attractions. The hotel was clean. Great room for a family with children. It had a sofa bed, large fridge, access to a BBQ, and single-range stovetops were available at the front desk.2017-07-11"
"The check-in clerk was so rude to us because we arrived early. We left and returned later, but she was still rude. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that we went out and bought blow-up mattresses for our kids to sleep on. The heated pool was cold, and the pool room was too warm. The continental breakfast was a joke. We'd never stay at this hotel again.2015-08-28"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
