"The hotel was OK, but the rates were high. Nice lobby and good breakfast.2022-08-15"
"The hotel was clean, but I didn't like the use of chemicals to clean the room since I'm sensitive to odors. The window didn't open for fresh air. Excellent customer service; I was impressed that the staff called the room to see if everything was OK. When I mentioned the odors, they offered another room, but I declined. The bed was comfortable, and there was even a shower cap provided. If you want a good cup of coffee, go to Starbucks.2021-10-23"
"Quiet location. The room and bathroom were clean, but the shower was not; it had hair and hair ties in it, as well as used bandages. Good hotel clerks.2020-07-17"
"There were bugs in my hotel room, and I was bitten while sleeping. The towels were thin and soiled. The lobby was hot. Breakfast was a bag with a fruit cup, granola bar, and juice box. Don't stay here.2021-07-19"
"The hotel looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1970s. The room smelled like stale smoke despite the No Smoking sign. Don't stay here.2019-04-22"
"I had a good hotel stay. Get to breakfast early before it gets busy.2017-06-01"
"Good motel, but there was no grab and go breakfast.2021-03-05"
"The motel was clean and pleasant, and the employees were friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.2017-04-25"
"Cheap motel. Nothing fancy, but it served its purpose. Just a place to sleep overnight. The room was very dated, but clean enough. The mattress and pillows weren't great. Nice view of the area scenery, though. Staff was friendly.2015-08-07"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
