"The hotel was clean and quiet, but just average. No coffee maker in the room, and I needed an extra roll of toilet paper. The initial greeting wasn't that friendly. We weren't told about the continental breakfast or amenities. I tried calling the front desk, and no one answered the phone. There was plenty of parking.2021-05-23"

"Clean hotel with good service. Everything was fine.2015-08-12"
"We had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Though we requested a non-smoking room, our room smelled like smoke and was unacceptable. The room was dirty. Coffee from a previous guest was still in the coffee pot. The beds were poorly made, and the bathtub wasn't clean. We tried three other rooms, but all smelled terrible. Find another place to stay.2015-06-03"
"The king bed only had 3 small pillows, and the TV remote control didn't work. The housekeeper cleaned the room after the 1st night, but didn't replace the bath mat.2020-09-07"
"A pleasant experience. This hotel was a good place to stay.2015-08-22"
"Easy to find. A basic, mid-century motel. The room was small but clean, and better than I expected for the low price. There was only one working electrical outlet, so I had to unplug the lamp to charge our phones.2018-06-24"
"The room smelled musty, and the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Consider other motels.2018-06-18"
"The motel room wasn't fancy, but it was adequate.2017-04-22"
"The carpet in my motel room was so dirty it turned my socks black. The housekeeper never made our beds; they just threw the blankets up. The used towels weren't replaced, and they didn't leave coffee one day. Other than that, our stay was OK.2018-08-21"
HotelGuides made it easy to choose a hotel based on how far we wanted to get that day. Also liked being able to see the interstate interchange on the map to determine how far off the highway each hotel was.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
