"The hotel was beautiful, but the employees were downright rude. After checking out, I realized I'd lost my ID, and the clerk gave me attitude and wouldn't help me.2023-04-04"
"A decent hotel, but don't expect too much. The carpeting was smelly and looked unclean. The vending machine on the 4th floor didn't work during my 4-day stay, and no information was provided about other options. Housekeeping didn't answer the phone after 6 PM. The front desk clerks were courteous, and so were the housekeepers.2017-09-19"
"Good hotel with super friendly, helpful employees. No on-site restaurant, though, and breakfast got boring after 3 days. There was only 1 elevator in operation.2019-02-08"
"This hotel wasn't the greatest. Security was rude and slightly aggressive toward my friends who came to hang out in my room. I wasn't pleased.2018-11-20"
"The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. I didn't like paying to park, though.2018-01-29"
"Convenient to everything along the waterfront. I enjoyed my hotel stay, but the elevators were out of service. There were so many children in the pool that I couldn't use it. I absolutely loved the breakfast. Great place.2019-02-19"
"Great hotel. The room was clean and just like home, and the staff was excellent. Conveniently located, too.2017-10-30"
"The room was beautifully decorated, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel had few amenities, though. There were no drinking glasses or alarm clock in the room. The coffee bar in the lobby wasn't complimentary. No daily housekeeping. Parking cost $17 per night.2023-12-07"
"The hotel was fairly new, and we were quite pleased.2023-04-21"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
