"The area around the motel didn't seem safe. The check-in clerk wasn't nice and acted like we were bothering her. She didn't direct us to our room. The carpet was coming up by the baseboards, and there were cigarette holes in the bedding. There was a plastic bag over the smoke detector. We couldn't turn on the TV without the remote control. No shelf in the walk-in shower for toiletries, and the hair dryer didn't work. We saw 3 bugs on the ceiling. Parking was in front of the office, not by the rooms.
