"The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Nice entrance and seating arrangement. The staff was friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel.2023-04-26"
"The room was filthy, and the carpet was stained. The bathroom had mold. Don't stay at this hotel.2017-10-14"
"Comfortable room, but we didn't get housekeeping service in one of our rooms. Clean towels were provided immediately after we called the front desk. Friendly staff. Our "free breakfast" was only for 1 person, even though we had a double occupancy. We'll definitely stay at this hotel again, but won't be having meals here.2015-11-24"
"The back door at the hotel building I was in was ajar all night, which seemed like a security risk. It make a squeaking noise when opened, and the area outside smelled like urine.2021-10-16"
"OK hotel, but the bathroom wasn't really nice. There was mold in the bathtub. The rates were good, though.2016-05-12"
"The hotel room was old and smelled musty. Don't have high expectations.2015-09-21"
"The bathtub in our room was dirty; I informed the hotel clerk, and when we returned after a wedding, it was clean. I found out he'd cleaned it himself; shame the housekeeper didn't do it. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was nice.2022-08-30"
"Great room. The hotel was clean, and the employees were friendly.2017-05-01"
"My family and I loved staying here. The hotel was peaceful and charming. However, we had a few problems. Our room wasn't cleaned, and we didn't get fresh towels. The staff couldn't recommend a restaurant that suited my taste, and instead handed me a pre-printed list of restaurants.2015-12-20"
I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
