"The bedroom furnishings were old, and the carpet was beat up. The lampshades needed to be replaced. No door on the closet, and the leather chair was horribly worn. The bedspread was fine, and the bathroom was nice. Don't stay at this hotel.2022-07-13"

"My stay was great. Friendly staff, nice pool, and good hot breakfast. Everything was clean. The only problem was a funky smell in my room, like wet carpet and mold. Everything else was fine.2015-07-08"
"Nice decor and good beds. The fridge in our room was dirty and had food in it. The hotel clerk was condescending and didn't give clear directions to our room, which we had trouble finding. No apology; I was just told that a housekeeper would be up after a break. No trash bags in the trash cans. I ended up wiping down everything myself. Because of the lack of cleanliness and the clerk's attitude, we didn't have a comfortable stay.2021-04-04"
"Good hotel room, but someone tried to enter with the key card early in the morning. They were mistakenly given the key to my room and insisted it was their room.2016-04-20"
"I had a 5-star hotel stay. Everything was pleasant and went smoothly.2015-10-27"
"The hotel was clean and adequate. Basic room, and the beds were uncomfortable. The staff was informative and helpful. Disappointed that the pool was outside and there was no whirlpool, but there was a small gym and sauna. Good breakfast, and the attendants kept the area clean and assisted guests when needed. Nice to have a lounge to relax in after our long drive.2015-07-09"
"The TV in my hotel room didn't work even after trying 3 different remote controls. I was moved to a non-smoking handicap room and had to go outside to smoke in the rain and cold. The vending machine ate my money.2021-02-16"
"The hotel room was clean, but we woke up with bedbug bites.2016-07-14"
"Average hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant off the lobby. I had a pleasant stay.2015-08-28"
"Nice hotel, but my room didn't have a refrigerator.2015-08-16"
"Near the freeway, Six Flags, and restaurants. The hotel room was clean, and it was nice to have my dog with me. There was a big field where dogs could play. The one negative was the mattress; it was too firm, and I could feel the springs. Nice bathroom. The grounds were well-kept. Friendly staff. I was happy with my stay.2015-08-12"
"This motel is OK if you just need a place to sleep. The room was small but clean, and everything was serviceable. The downside was the traffic noise from the highway just outside. The continental breakfast ended at 9 AM.2016-09-29"
"Good area. The motel was just fine.2015-11-22"
"Conveniently located, reasonably priced hotel. It was exactly what I needed. I stayed for a week.2015-07-14"

"The hotel was dirty, and the walls in my room had stains all over them. Breakfast was terrible. The exterior smelled like garbage. Don't stay here.2019-10-16"
"The hotel was showing signs of age. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and the toilet ran continuously. We had to unplug the fridge because of an annoying ticking sound, and we could hear plumbing noises from surrounding rooms. There was no way to lower the room temperature without turning on the AC. The hotel seemed quite noisy at night. The exercise room was small but seemed new, and all the equipment worked well. Breakfast had a good selection, but the coffee cups were tiny. Definitely an adequate place for an overnight stay.2018-02-21"
"Great hotel. The employees were helpful and pleasant. Good value, too. I'd stay here again.2017-07-18"
"Perfect location for traveling in the area. The hotel and rooms were kept extremely clean, and the staff was courteous and professional. 2015-12-17"
"The hotel wasn't too pricey. Nice staff and a pretty good complimentary breakfast. Great stay.2015-10-29"
"Everything went well. The room was clean, and the hotel clerks accommodated our special request. Typical complimentary breakfast. Don't hesitate to stay here.2018-05-03"

"The motel was clean and extremely quiet, and the staff was pleasant. Be prepared to pay $5 a week for wireless Internet access. I'd definitely stay here again.2017-03-02"
"The motel was within walking distance of major malls. We were able to cook in our room, which was a high point. The front desk clerk wasn't informative about area attractions. We were visiting from another country, so some recommendations would've been nice.2015-08-24"
"Nice place for my dog and myself to live during repairs on my home.2015-01-21"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
