"Luxury surroundings away from the flash but just blocks away. The hotel was safe, clean, and elegant. As a single woman traveling alone, I appreciate these qualities, as well as the friendly, welcoming staff. The room had a simple food prep area, so I could have a quick meal without facing crowds.2020-11-23"
"Great hotel. Our family had a wonderful stay, and we liked having rooms next to each other.2017-05-02"
"Nice, clean hotel. This is the place to stay.2017-03-19"
"I had a bad stay. The hotel was being remodeled, and the phone and coffee maker in my room didn't work. My parking pass didn't work, either, and there was no hot water. Don't waste your time or money here.2018-08-28"
"The hotel was showing some wear and tear, but I felt safe. The room carpet needed deep cleaning. The bathtub drain was clogged, but the problem was resolved and we got a discount on our room rate. The hotel staff was professional and accommodating with all our requests. Enjoyed the evening hospitality gathering, with great drinks and good service. Easy parking. We'll be back.2015-08-14"
"The hotel staff was friendly, but I couldn't connect to the Internet, and the front desk clerk wasn't able to resolve the problem. She gave me a phone number, but I just got a recording. I used a guest computer in the lobby for e-mail.2016-09-25"
"Close enough to the strip, but far enough to be nice and quiet. The hotel was new and clean, but ownership had recently changed. There was welding and construction underway on the exterior. The wireless Internet connection only worked the last 2 days of our stay. The staff tried hard to rectify the problems, but were new to the hotel and in training. Disappointed that the pool was drained our 1st day and wasn't refilled. The courtesy shuttle to the strip no longer ran, though the airport shuttle did.2015-04-10"
"An OK hotel, but I didn't like the stairs and long walk to my room. No indoor pool. I did enjoy the complimentary happy hour.2018-03-30"
"Walk to the convention center and Westgate Hotel, where there was a Benihana restaurant and Enterprise car rental. The hotel room was clean, and it was nice to have a kitchen. We did have to re-arrange the furniture so we could all watch TV. There were grills available for use in the courtyard. Friendly staff. My son was disappointed that there were no pancakes or waffles at breakfast.2017-02-07"
"The hotel needed updating and new furniture. The sofa and chair were dirty. Considering the price, I was not impressed. I'd give cleanliness a 7, and the staff a 10. There are better options in the area.2016-02-18"
"The room was dirty, and there was a clump of hair on the bathroom floor. The hotel didn't have a 24-hour shuttle. I was disappointed. Don't stay at this hotel.2021-11-05"
"The hotel was dirty, and the staff was rude. I didn't stay.2019-06-01"
"Close to the airport and reasonably priced. The hotel building was old and needed updating. The room was clean except for a few hairs in the sink, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was convenient. The outlet in the bathroom didn't fit my curling iron. Lots of gloomy hallways. Nice staff. There was a shuttle to the airport and Harrah's. The best part of my stay was breakfast; the room was nice, and there was a good selection of hot and cold items. Don't expect anything special.2018-10-20"
"Our nephew was shot in the Vegas tragedy, and we were unprepared for the outpouring of care and love from the hotel staff. The comped us the room and gave us a breakfast voucher, and they restored our faith in humanity.2017-10-11"
"I travel a lot, and this was the best hotel experience I've had. I loved staying here. The staff was genuinely kind. Two thumbs up.2017-08-26"
"Lovely room and kind, helpful hotel staff, but everything from coffee to wireless Internet cost extra.2017-07-24"

"The hotel wasn't officially on the Strip, and the neighborhood was sketchy. There were long lines to use the elevator, and it smelled like urine. The ice machines didn't work. The adult pool area didn't feel safe.2023-07-27"
"The hotel room was decent. No luggage carts, and I never found an ice machine. I ended up paying for parking before realizing that free parking was in back or higher levels of the garage. No continental breakfast.2022-11-07"
"We were disappointed that there was no fridge or coffee maker in the room. The check-in line was ridiculously long. The music at the pools was aimed at a younger crowd. The signage at the hotel was mediocre, so give yourself extra time to get around.2017-03-20"
"My hotel room received minimal servicing; the bed was made and I got fresh towels, but the housekeeper didn't replace the coffee packets even after I requested more, and discarded wrappers were left on the counter. The only ice machine was in the lobby building, and I was in a room in the back of the property.2016-12-06"
"Close to the airport. The room was dated and smelled like cigarette smoke. The floor was dirty, and the furniture quality was poor. Nice staff. Bring air freshener or find another hotel.2023-09-16"
"The toilet tank didn't fill with water after flushing; I had to fill it manually. The elevator was out of service. The front desk clerk was unfriendly. The shuttle driver was the best. Don't stay at this hotel.2022-10-23"
"An excellent hotel. No issues. I didn't like the extra fee for checking in early.2022-08-24"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
